    • Jorge Mateo doubles home two in win
Jorge Mateo went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the Orioles’ 3-1 win over the Rays on Friday.

Advice: Mateo put the Orioles ahead in this one with his two-run double off Phil Maton in the sixth inning and Baltimore didn’t look back. He’s started 12 of 14 games and keeps finding ways to be productive. Over that time he has eight extra-base hits, seven runs scored, seven RBI, and five stolen five bases. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago

    • Seth Brown strikes out four times in loss
Seth Brown struck out all four times he was up in Friday’s loss to the Braves.

Advice: It’s probably about time for the A’s to give up on Brown. He was a solid role player in 2021 and ’22, but his slugging fell off last year, and his exit velocity numbers have really slipped while he’s hit .201/.242/.329 this season. Lawrence Butler seems like a better option in his spot. Rotoworld 32 minutes ago

    • Mark Vientos goes 3-for-5 in start
Mark Vientos went 3-for-5 with two RBI in a 10-5 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Advice: Vientos received a vote of confidence before this game with Brett Baty being sent down to the minor leagues. That gives Vientos full runway to be the Mets’ starting third baseman for the foreseeable future. He should firmly be on all fantasy radars with a .327/.377/.592 slash line in 49 at-bats this season. • Joc Pederson hits late three-run homer
Joc Pederson went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored in a loss to the Mets on Friday.

Advice: Pederson’s ninth inning home run off Reed Garrett made this game much hairier than it probably should have been, but still wasn’t enough to fuel the Diamondback’s comeback. He’s had a great season to this point with a .952 OPS and seven home runs. Rotoworld 46 minutes ago

    • Jesús Sánchez homers, doubles twice for Marlins
Jesús Sánchez homered, doubled twice and walked Friday in leading the Marlins to an 8-2 defeat of the Rangers.

Advice: Finally. Sánchez increased his extra-base hit total by 50% tonight, going from six to nine. Statcast thinks he’s been one of the league’s unluckiest hitters and his hard-hit rate and strikeout rates are both better than his career norms, so odds are that his .657 OPS will continue to climb. Still, it’s going to be hard for him to be useful in mixed leagues while being platooned in a bad lineup. Rotoworld 55 minutes ago

    • Jake Burger goes 3-for-5 in win over Rangers
Jake Burger went 3-for-5 with a couple of runs scored Friday in the win over the Rangers.

Advice: Burger came into the night with a hideous .240 OBP, but the Marlins still had him hitting second in their lineup. Perhaps he’s starting to pull out of his slump; he has seven hits in his last three games, raising his average from .189 to .218. Rotoworld 55 minutes ago

    • Adoils García goes hitless in fourth straight game
Adolis García went 0-for-4 as the Rangers’ cleanup man Friday against the Marlins.

Advice: This has turned into quite a slump for García; he’s batting .164 in 110 at-bats since Apr. 25. The Rangers still don’t have much reason to drop him out of the cleanup spot, since most of the hitters behind him are struggling, too. His first four weeks were so strong that he’s still hitting a reasonable .232/.289/.457 for the season. Rotoworld 55 minutes ago

    • Ceddanne Rafaela homers twice in win over Tigers
Ceddanne Rafaela crushed a pair of home runs and drove in five on Friday night, propelling the Red Sox to a lopsided 7-3 victory over the Tigers at Fenway Park.

Advice: The 23-year-old outfielder broke the game open with a 359-foot (101.0 mph) three-run shot to left off of Kenta Maeda in the fourth inning — giving the Red Sox a 4-1 lead. He added to that lead with a 375-foot (99.5 mph EV) two-run shot off of Joey Wentz in the sixth inning that made it a 7-1 ballgame. Rafaela finished the night 2-for-4 and is now hitting .211/.239/.387 to go along with seven homers and 33 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 6:42 pm

    • Dominic Smith collects two hits in win over Tigers
Dominic Smith went 2-for-3 and drove in a run on Friday as the Red Sox defeated the Tigers at Fenway Park.

Advice: Smith got the Red Sox on the board with a run-scoring double off of Kenta Maeda in the fourth inning, then scored on Ceddanne Rafaela’s three-run blast. The 28-year-old also drew a walk in the contest, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances. Even with the strong showing though, he’s still hitting just .198/.278/.284 with one homer and 13 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 6:42 pm
