    • Not a viable option Sunday
Soto (forearm) "probably" wasn't available Sunday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Soto went through his normal pregame routine in the hopes of entering Sunday's game as a pinch hitter. Manager Aaron Boone indicated after the contest that work went well, but that Soto still wasn't likely to appear. That leaves his status murky heading into Monday's matchup against the Royals. • Alex Bregman (wrist) considered day-to-day
Astros’ manager Joe Espada told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Angels that X-rays came back negative on the injured left wrist of Alex Bregman.

Advice: Bregman noted that while he got hit flush on his hand earlier in the week, the pitch that got him on Sunday was on his wrist instead. Fortunately, X-rays came back negative for any fractures and he’s considered day-to-day. Expect him to return to action early next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:57 pm

    • Swipes two bags
Happ went 1-for-3 with a double, three RBI, two walks and two stolen bases in Sunday's 4-2 win over Cincinnati.

Advice: Happ slugged a bases-clearing double in the first inning and stole multiple bases for the first time this season. The switch-hitting Happ has now collected three steals over his past five games, upping his season total to five. If Happ can continue his recent success on the basepaths, his fantasy value will receive a tremendous boost. On the season, the 29-year-old is batting .222 with six home runs, 30 RBI, 31 runs scored and five stolen bases across 258 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:51 pm
    • Initial tests come back clean
X-rays on Bregman's left wrist came back clean Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Bregman was forced to exit Sunday's game against the Angels after being hit on the wrist by a sinker. It was the second time since Wednesday he's been hit in the hand area by a pitch, though he told reporters after the game that he was hit in a different spot the second time. Bregman also declared himself good to go, but it will still be worth confirming he is in Houston's lineup Monday against the Giants. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:43 pm

    • Alex Bregman (hand) leaves game after hit by pitch
Alex Bregman was removed from Sunday’s game against the Angels after being hit by a pitch on his left hand.

Advice: Bregman was plunked by a 93.4 mph sinker on the same hand that he was hit on earlier in the week. He did stay in the game to run the bases for himself but was ultimately removed when the Astros took the field. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. Stay tuned. • Exits after HBP on hand
Bregman exited Sunday's game against the Angels after being hit on the left hand by a 93.4 mph sinker in the sixth inning, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: He will presumably go for tests to determine the extent of the injury beyond the initial designation of "discomfort". Bregman missed a game last week when the same hand swelled up after a similar injury. Trey Cabbage entered the game in left field following Bregman's departure Sunday, while Mauricio Dubon moved to third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:11 pm

    • Ian Happ knocks in three, steals two bases in win
Ian Happ delivered a three-run double, walked twice and stole two bases Sunday as the Cubs topped the Reds 4-2.

Advice: It’s Happ’s 10th multi-RBI game of the year, which is kind of interesting because he has only 30 RBI total. Just four times in 61 games this year has he driven in a lone run. The two steals pushed his season total to five. It’s the third time in his career that he’s swiped two bases in a game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:08 pm
    • Arozarena has two hits, RBI in loss to BAL
Randy Arozarena went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss to Baltimore on Sunday.

Advice: The two hits are nice, and Arozarena now has five hits in his last six games; however, the 29-year-old had three batted balls on the day and none of them were hit harder than 85 mph. On the positive side, Arozarena is now 8-for-22 in June and is pulling the ball and hitting it on the line more while striking out just 11 percent of the time. He seems to be trading some power for contact and considering he’s still on pace to steal 20 or more bases, raising his batting average and increasing his stolen base opportunities would be welcome, even if it does come at the expense of some power. • Could come off bench Sunday
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that Soto (forearm) will go through his normal pregame routine and may be available off the bench Sunday against the Dodgers, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Boone also indicated that Soto should rejoin the lineup during the four-game series in Kansas City that begins Monday, as the outfielder appears to be progressing well in his recovery from forearm inflammation. It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old will be back in action Monday against the Royals, but it appears his absence won't extend too much longer. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:21 pm
