    • Connects for third homer
Pena went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Pena had a productive weekend series at Mexico City, racking up a total of four runs scored in a pair of games. He also chipped in his third home run of the campaign Sunday, his first long ball since April 3. Pena has remained a subpar power contributor, though he also has four stolen bases and is hitting .321 across 115 plate appearances early this season. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

    • Takes extra-inning loss
Clase (1-1) took the loss Sunday against Atlanta, allowing one unearned run on one hit in 0.1 innings of work.

Advice: After striking out Ozzie Albies to open up the bottom half of the 10th frame, Clase surrendered a walk-off base hit to Austin Riley to bring home the designated runner. The outing snapped a streak of six consecutive scoreless appearances (six innings) and three straight perfect innings. Still, Clase is tied for the sixth most saves in baseball (8). • Stumbles again Sunday
Detmers (3-2) yielded five runs on nine hits over five innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Twins.

Advice: Detmers fired three perfect innings before the Twins broke the scoreless tie in the fourth inning. He ran into more trouble in the fifth, coughing up four runs on five hits. After an incredible start to his season in which he produced a 30:7 K:BB and 1.19 ERA through four starts, Detmers has taken two straight losses, yielding nine runs in 12 innings. His ERA climbed to 3.12 but he still owns a strong 37:10 K:BB through 34.2 frames. Detmers is projected for a road start in Cleveland next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 7:00 pm
    • Starting Tuesday
Turnbull will start Tuesday's game against the Angels, with Zack Wheeler getting moved back a day and Aaron Nola moved back to Friday, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: Manager Rob Thomson said that he wanted to give Wheeler and Nola the extra rest days, and that he's not inclined to go with a six-man rotation. However, this buys him another start to compare Turnbull against Taijuan Walker and allows people to use Turnbull for another week. Rotowire.com Today, 5:06 pm
    • Reid Detmers gives up five runs in loss to Twins
Reid Detmers struggled in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Twins, giving up five runs on nine hits over his five frames.

Advice: The 24-year-old hurler struck out three batters on the afternoon and didn’t walk a batter. He kept the Twins off the board through the first three innings, but they broke through in the fourth on an RBI single by Jose Miranda. They tacked on an additional four runs in the fifth inning — keyed by a two-run single off the bat of Austin Martin. Detmers got nine swings and misses on 87 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 33 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he brings a 3.12 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a 37/10 K/BB ratio (34 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s tilt against the Guardians in Cleveland. Rotoworld Today, 5:02 pm
    • J.T. Realmuto clubs two-run homer in win Sunday
J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI on Sunday as the Phillies triumphed over the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: The hard-hitting backstop victimized Padres’ right-hander Michael King for a 421-foot (107.2 mph EV) two-run shot in the sixth inning that extended the Phillies’ lead to 6-3. He also added an insurance run with an RBI single in the seventh inning. With his two-hit afternoon, Realmuto is now hitting .245/.292/.429 with five homers, 14 RBI and one stolen base (three attempts) on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:39 pm

    • Launches homer in loss
Paredes went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Paredes took Erick Fedde deep for a solo shot in the top of the fourth, giving Tampa Bay an early 1-0 lead. He later singled and came around to score in the top of the ninth on a double from Harold Ramirez. The homer was the 25-year-old's seventh of the season and second in his last five games. Since April 14, Paredes has batted .314 with three home runs, seven RBI and seven runs scored over 51 at-bats in 13 games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:17 pm

    • Throws bullpen session
Javier (neck) threw a bullpen session Sunday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The right-hander landed on the injured list last Sunday with neck discomfort, but it's encouraging he's back on the mound a week later. Javier will be eligible to be activated during next weekend's three game series versus the Mariners, though it remains to be seen if he's game-ready at that point. Rotowire.com Today, 2:30 pm

    • Isaac Paredes goes 2-for-4, hits seventh homer
Isaac Paredes finished 2-for-4 with a homer versus the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Paredes is the one holdover in the Rays lineup who hasn’t been hurt or a disappointment. The homer today was his seventh. No one else on the squad has more than three. Rotoworld Today, 2:02 pm
