    • Woods Richardson picks up second win vs. Royals
Simeon Woods Richardson allowed two earned runs over five innings, picking up the win on Tuesday against the Royals.

Advice: Woods Richardson allowed two runs in the fifth when Garrett Hampson and Kyle Isbel drove in runs in back-to-back plate appearances. He was far from dominant, but Woods Richardson allowed just five total base runners on the night and had the Twins in position to win he made his exit. Tuesday’s win marks his first since April 13th, as Woods Richardson will now look to pick up his third win on Sunday against the Astros. Rotoworld Today, 7:38 pm
    • Kirby Yates earns eighth save vs. D-Backs
Kirby Yates earned his eighth save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Yates had to tightrope out of danger to earn the save in this one. The righty allowed a two-out walk to Eugenio Suárez only to see a single by Gabriel Moreno move Suárez into scoring position. Fortunately for Yates, a strikeout of Kevin Newman would end the game and secure the win for the Rangers, who have now won back-to-back games after dropping their previous six. • Exits with injury
Megill was removed from Tuesday's game against the Cubs after getting hit in the right arm by a line drive, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Megill entered Tuesday's game in the 10th inning and threw three pitches to Mike Tauchman before getting taking a 99-mph line drive off his right (throwing) arm. Megill immediately came out of the game and will presumably head into the clubhouse for imaging. The Brewers should have more information on his status following Tuesday's contest. • Trevor Megill exits after being hit by line drive
Trevor Megill left Tuesday’s relief appearance against the Cubs with an apparent injury.

Advice: Ouch. Megill was struck on the right elbow by a 99-mph line-drive off Mike Tauchman’s bat in the 10th inning of Tuesday’s showdown against the Cubs and immediately left the contest. The 30-year-old righty will likely head for X-rays to determine the extent of the damage. There should be an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld Today, 7:28 pm

    • Refsnyder has two hits, HR in win over Orioles
Rob Refsnyder went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: Refsnyder had a 102.2 mph double off of Grayson Rodriguez in the first inning and then clobbered a 419-foot home run in the ninth that left the bat at 105.1 mph. It was his second home run on the season, and he now has 13 RBI to go along with a .347/.437/.547 slash line in 87 plate appearances this season. With Tyler O’Neill visiting a specialist for his troublesome right knee, there is a chance that Refsnyder starts getting more regular at-bats for the Red Sox in the near future. • Slugs sixth homer
Schneider went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Monday's 5-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Monday's home run was Schneider's first since May 18. Over that span, the 25-year-old has batted just .194 with seven RBI and five runs scored. Even so, Schneider has batted leadoff in eight of the last nine games for the Blue Jays and should continue to see everyday at bats. On the season, he's slashing .241/.350/.453 with six home runs, 24 RBI and 22 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:37 pm

    • Davis Schneider goes deep in win over White Sox
Davis Schneider slugged a two-run homer on Monday in the Blue Jays’ win over the White Sox.

Advice: Schneider supplied a pair of insurance runs for Toronto with a ninth-inning blast off veteran reliever John Brebbia. It was his fifth round-tripper of the season and first time he’s left the yard since back on May 17. The 25-year-old has emerged as Toronto’s primary leadoff option over the last few weeks, which makes him fantasy-relevant for managers in deeper mixed leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:55 pm

    • Jose Miranda slugs moonshot homer to sink Royals
Jose Miranda clobbered a two-run homer on Monday in the Twins’ victory over the Royals.

Advice: Miranda kicked off the scoring in the third inning of Monday afternoon’s matinee affair at Target Field with a colossal 437-foot drive to left-center field off Royals starter Alec Marsh. It wound up being his lone hit in three at-bats before being lifted from the contest of a defensive replacement. The 25-year-old slugger has started to heat up lately, going deep three times in his last eight contests since May 19. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:41 pm

    • Playing time picking up
Miranda will start at third base and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Willi Castro looked as though he would settle in as the Twins' primary third baseman after Byron Buxton returned from the injured list around the middle of May, but Minnesota has instead kept Castro in the regular lineup by moving him all over the outfield. As a result, Miranda has gained traction at the hot corner of late; Sunday will mark his ninth consecutive start at the position. Miranda has earned the playing time by producing a .986 OPS over his last eight starts, but he could nonetheless see his opportunities decrease by the end of next week, when Royce Lewis (quadricep) could be back from the IL.
