    • Will Benson homers in loss to Cardinals
Will Benson went 1-for-1 with a walk and a solo home run in a loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Advice: In one game, we saw the pluses and minuses of the Will Benson experience. He hit a solo home run off Kyle Gibson but was lifted for a pinch hitter in the eighth inning with a left-handed reliever on the mound. The 25-year-old flashed some intriguing power and speed upside last year, but he now has a .199/.300/.416 triple slash and the Reds are happy to remove him in the middle of a game when a lefty comes in. That makes it hard to roster him in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld 48 minutes ago

    • Out of Tuesday's lineup
Moore isn't in the Mariners' lineup Tuesday against the Astros.

Advice: Moore has been extremely hot at the plate lately, slashing an incredible .324/.489/.735 with three homers and seven RBI across his last 11 games. He'll get a breather against Hunter Brown and the Astros while Luke Raley, Julio Rodriguez and Dominic Canzone start across the outfield with Mitch Haniger in as the DH. Rotowire.com Today, 6:02 pm

    • Sitting against lefty
Calhoun isn't in the Angels' lineup Tuesday versus the Yankees.

Advice: With southpaw Nestor Cortes set to pitch for New York, the lefty-hitting Calhoun will step out of the lineup in favor of Cole Tucker, who will bat eighth while serving as the Angels' DH. Rotowire.com Today, 5:47 pm

    • Resting Tuesday
Moniak isn't in the Angels' lineup Tuesday against the Yankees.

Advice: Moniak will take a seat Tuesday after going 1-for-11 over his last four games. His absence will allow Kevin Pillar to start in center field while batting fourth. Rotowire.com Today, 5:45 pm

    • J.D. Davis exits Tuesday after being hit by pitch
J.D. Davis left Tuesday’s game against the Rays after being hit by a pitch.

Advice: Davis was hit on the left hand by a pitch and remained in the contest initially before being lifted for a defensive replacement in the ensuing frame. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to determine whether he suffered any fractures. Rotoworld Today, 5:45 pm

    • Rockies outright Matt Koch to Triple-A
Rockies sent RHP Matt Koch outright to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Advice: Koch unsurprisingly went unclaimed on waivers after being designated for assignment last week by Colorado. The 33-year-old righty could wind up electing free agency, but will likely stick around as extra organizational depth. Rotoworld Today, 5:06 pm

    • Getting another turn in rotation
Spence will start Tuesday's game against the Rays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Spence will make a third consecutive start for the A's after opening the season as a long reliever. Spence has lasted 4.2 innings and 3.0 innings across his first two starts, yielding three runs and striking out eight over that stretch. He's thrown 77 and 70 pitches during those two outings, respectively, and shouldn't be a viable fantasy option in most formats. Rotowire.com Today, 11:44 am

    • Outrighted to Triple-A
Koch cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Albuquerque by the Rockies on Monday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Advice: He's no longer on the 40-man roster but will remain in the organization. Koch has allowed four runs (three earned) while recording just one out covering two appearances with the Rockies this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:21 pm

    • Masyn Winn leads off against a lefty
Masyn Winn is in the lineup as the lead-off hitter on Monday against a left-handed starter.

Advice: This is the second straight game against a lefty that the Cardinals have hit Winn lead-off while Brendan Donovan sits on the bench. The 22-year-old has been great in May, slashing .299//.324/.478 with two home runs, eight RBI, and three steals in 18 games while posting just a 10 percent strikeout rate. That contact-heavy approach with good speed could make him an ideal lead-off hitter, which would improve his fantasy value a good deal. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:27 am
