    • Adolis Garcia homers in two-hit night vs. CLE
Adolis Garcia went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Garcia’s ninth homer of the season came on a solo blast off Cleveland’s Ben Lively. It was the first homer of the month for Garcia, who has cooled off in a big way after a strong April. Garcia entered the day slashing .154/.193/.173 in the month of May and has become difficult to trust in fantasy as a result. Managers who are unwilling to bench him will have to hope he comes out of this slump sooner rather than later. Hopefully, Tuesday’s two-hit night is a step in the right direction. • Leiter lit up for 6 ER in 1 2/3 IP vs. Guardians
Jack Leiter allowed six earned runs over 1 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Guardians.

Advice: It was another rough outing for Leiter, whose ERA now sits at 16.39 through three career starts. Baseballs No. 6 ranked prospect made it through the first inning unscathed despite a few eratic pitches but was lit for six runs in the second inning, with Josh Naylor’s three-run bomb putting the finishing touches on a disastrous inning for the young righty. Assuming he’s still with the big league club next week, Leiter’s next outing is scheduled for Tuesday against the Phillies, which could make for another challenging start. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

    • Josh Naylor’s 3-run homer leads Guardians to win
Josh Naylor went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Naylor capped off a six-run second inning for the Guardians when he smacked a three-run homer off Jack Leiter to give the Guardians a 6-1 lead. Naylor has now homered four times this month and has hit 12 on the season while also driving in 33 runs. He’s pacing toward a career year if he can continue his strong start. He’s cooled off a bit, slashing .239/.352/.587 this month, but continues to be an imposing threat in the middle of the order.

    • Bo Naylor drives in two in win over Rangers
Bo Naylor went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Naylor doubled in the second inning to score Estevan Florial and Kyle Manzanardo, giving the Guardians their first runs of the day and an early 2-0 lead. He would later score on a single by Andrés Giménez to push the lead to 3-0. Naylor’s hit ended a three-game hitless streak as the catcher has struggled out of the gate to start the year. Naylor entered the day batting .175 with three homers and nine RBI over 33 games. He remains well off the fantasy radar at this time. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

    • Ben Lively strikes out five in win over Rangers
Ben Lively allowed five hits and three earned runs over five innings in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Lively’s three earned runs all came on solo blasts from Adolis Garcia, Corey Seager, and Nathaniel Lowe. While it wasn’t an ideal way to get through an otherwise strong outing, the veteran righty did about as well as one could hope for against a strong Rangers lineup. He ran into a bit of trouble in the fourth inning, loading the bases after a single and two walked batters, but was able to strike out Marcus Semien to end the inning. Lively earned his second win of the season in this outing and will look to pick up his third on Monday against the Mets. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago

    • Back in minors
The Nationals returned Rutledge to Triple-A Rochester after Tuesday's doubleheader against the White Sox.

Advice: Rutledge pitched one inning during the nightcap in what was his season debut, allowing one earned run on two hits while striking out one batter. He holds a 6.33 ERA and 1.63 WHIP through 27 innings across seven starts in the minors, and he would likely need to show significant improvement before he draws consideration for an extended stint in the big leagues. • Elias Díaz leaves game with left hand soreness
Elias Díaz was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Padres due to left hand soreness.

Advice: It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but we’ll have to wait and see. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld 57 minutes ago
    • Returned to Charlotte
The White Sox returned Anderson to Triple-A Charlotte after Tuesday's doubleheader against Washington.

Advice: Anderson pitched a scoreless inning during the first game of the twin bill, giving up one walk while punching out two batters. He owns a 2.81 ERA and 1.06 WHIP across 16 frames in Triple-A, and he could return to the majors later this year if Chicago's bullpen depth is tested further. Rotowire.com Today, 7:46 pm

    • Stanton hits ninth homer of year vs. Twins
Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-5 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Twins.

Advice: Stanton hit his ninth homer of the season in the third inning when he took Chris Paddack deep for a solo blast, giving the Yankees a 3-1 lead. A true feast-or-famine player at this stage of his career, Stanton is still good for the occasional homer and has plenty of opportunities to drive in runs batting in the middle of a potent lineup, but shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a desperation play as far as fantasy is concerned.
