    • Could make next start in majors
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol hinted Wednesday that Clevinger could be added to the 26-man active roster next week to make his next start with the big club, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports. "We're expecting him to join us here pretty soon. He felt good [Tuesday]," Grifol said of Clevinger. "The news from our trainers was he's excited about how he felt, he's excited about how he threw the ball. We'll assess it, but I would expect him here shortly."

Advice: Because he didn't go through a proper spring training after remaining unsigned all offseason until inking a one-year deal with the White Sox until April 2, Clevinger has spent the first month of the regular season getting ramped up. He made the second of two starts at Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, covering four innings (71 pitches) and striking out four while allowing two earned runs on six hits and one walk. The White Sox have already announced their starting rotation through Sunday's game in St. Louis, but Clevinger should be a strong candidate to make his 2024 big-league debut early next week at Tampa Bay, if the organization's brain trust determines he doesn't need another tune-up start in the minors. • Back with Dodgers
The Dodgers recalled Feyereisen from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Advice: Feyereisen has put up a 3.38 ERA and 0.98 WHIP across 10.2 innings at Oklahoma City, and he'll now come up to give the Dodgers another fresh bullpen arm. Landon Knack was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago
    • Cleared to start Saturday
Glasnow (hand) is scheduled to start Saturday's game against Atlanta at Dodger Stadium, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Advice: Glasnow experienced hand cramps in his most recent start April 27, but he'll be ready to go on six days' rest in a series featuring two of the National League's top teams. The right-hander has gotten off to an excellent start to his tenure with the Dodgers, going 5-1 with a 2.72 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 53:12 K:BB across 43 innings through seven outings. • Removed early Wednesday
Lindor was removed from Wednesday's game against the Cubs after exhibiting flu-like symptoms, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Lindor was feeling sick ahead of the third inning and was replaced at shortstop by Joey Wendle, who could be in line to start Thursday's series finale if Lindor isn't feeling better by then. The 30-year-old All-Star went 0-for-1 before leaving Wednesday's game and now carries a .195 average on the year. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago

    • Optioned to Vegas
The Athletics optioned Noda to Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Advice: Noda's 0-for-3 performance during Wednesday's win over Pittsburgh extended his hitless streak to 28 at-bats across 11 games and gives him a putrid .128 batting average through 83 at-bats on the year. Abraham Toro will likely fill in as Oakland's everyday first baseman while Noda attempts to rediscover his swing in the minors. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

    • Ends up on injured list
The Astros placed McCormick on the 10-day injured list Wednesday due to right hamstring discomfort, retroactive to Sunday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Manager Joe Espada said Wednesday that the Astros were debating placing McCormick on the injured list, and the team ultimately decided sitting him down for another week is the best course of action. The 29-year-old outfielder likely won't require more than a minimum stay on the IL, so he may be able to return to the lineup when eligible May 8. Jacob Amaya was recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago

    • Recalled from Triple-A
The Astros recalled Amaya from Triple-A Sugar Land on Wednesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: With Chas McCormick (hamstring) headed for the 10-day IL, Amaya will come up from the minors to give the Astros an additional bench bat. However, the 25-year-old infielder is slashing just .190/.297/.302 across 74 plate appearances at Triple-A, so he likely won't see much playing time while with Houston. Rotowire.com 54 minutes ago

    • Astros recall Jacob Amaya from Triple-A
Astros recalled INF Jacob Amaya from Triple-A Sugar Land.

Advice: The 25-year-old infielder will add depth to the Astros’ bench with Chas McCormick (hamstring) hitting the injured list on Wednesday. He’s unlikely to see enough playing time to gain any sort of relevancy from a fantasy perspective. Rotoworld 55 minutes ago

    • Astros place Chas McCormick on 10-day IL
Astros placed OF Chas McCormick on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 28, with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Astros’ manager Joe Espada had mentioned earlier in the day that McCormick may need a stint on the injured list, and after attempting to go through a pregame workout on Wednesday the determination was made. Jacob Amaya was recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land in a corresponding move on Wednesday. Rotoworld 56 minutes ago
