    • Heads to bench Wednesday
Santander is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: Santander will get a breather after he had started each of Baltimore's last 13 games while posting an .886 OPS. The 29-year-old isn't at any risk of losing hold of an everyday role, but he'll cede his spot in the lineup Wednesday to rookie Heston Kjerstad, who has played sparingly since being called up from Triple-A Norfolk on April 23. • Resting against lefty
Marsh is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Advice: The Phillies will withhold Marsh and fellow lefty-hitting regular Bryson Stott from the lineup for the series finale while the Angels bring southpaw Patrick Sandoval to the hill. Kyle Schwarber checks in as the Phillies' starting left fielder in Marsh's stead. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:30 am

    • Launches third homer
Joe went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Oakland.

Advice: Joe tagged Alex Wood for a solo shot in the first inning, marking his third long ball in 100 plate appearances this season. He's on pace to exceed his career-high home run total of 11, which he achieved in 472 plate appearances last season. During his last five games, Joe is batting 6-for-19 (.316) with a pair of doubles and Tuesday's home run. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:58 pm

    • Crosses plate twice in loss
De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.

Advice: It was the 27-year-old's first multi-hit performance since April 17. De La Cruz has cooled down significantly, batting .205 (8-for-39) over the last 10 games, but he remains entrenched as the No. 2 hitter for a Miami team struggling to find consistent offense. On the season, he's slashing .261/.294/.437 with five homers, a steal, 13 runs and 14 RBI in 29 contests. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:26 am

    • Michael Conforto goes 0-for-4 against Pirates
Michael Conforto finished 0-for-4 against the Pirates on Sunday, leaving him without an RBI in his last five games.

Advice: Conforto opened the season 13-for-31 with three homers, four doubles and 10 RBI in his first eight games, Since then, he’s 15-for-74 with two homers, two doubles and six RBI in 19 games. He’s been in the lineup regularly against lefties since that fast start, but that probably ought to change, given his recent results. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:05 pm
    • Launches two massive homers
Alvarez went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI during Saturday's 12-4 win against the Rockies.

Advice: The Houston slugger busted out of a 5-for-25 slump Saturday with two homers that each went 461 feet. Alvarez is off to a bit of a slow start in 2024 with what would be a career-worst .867 OPS, but he's still been plenty productive with seven homers, 17 RBI and 18 runs through 27 games. • Yordan Alvarez homers twice as Astros top Rockies
Yordan Alvarez crushed a pair of home runs and drove in three as the Astros walloped the Rockies 12-4 in Mexico City on Saturday night.

Advice: The 26-year-old slugger victimized Rockies’ right-hander Cal Quantrill in the third inning, demolishing a 461-foot (108.8 mph EV) two-run shot that gave the Astros a 3-2 lead that they would never relinquish. He also tacked on a 461-foot (113.0 mph) solo shot off of Tyler Kinley in the ninth inning. Alvarez finished the night 3-for-5 and is now hitting .283/.358/.509 to go along with seven homers and 17 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:34 pm

    • Brandon Marsh collects three hits, homer in rout
Brandon Marsh went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI in a 9-3 rout of the Padres on Friday.

Advice: The Phillies were able to sock five homers on Friday night — four of those off Joe Musgrove — and Marsh took Musgrove deep with a runner on to give Philadelphia a 5-0 lead. He also doubled in a run in the first, and the three-hit night has the 26-year-old slashing .291/.329/.570. Rotoworld Friday, 9:28 pm

    • Homers, drives in three
Marsh went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Friday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Marsh knocked an RBI double in the first inning followed by a two-run blast in the third, both coming against Joe Musgrove. It was Marsh's sixth long ball of the year, though he had just one over his previous 11 games before Friday's big performance. He's now slashing .291/.329/.570 with nine extra-base hits and 16 RBI through 85 plate appearances this season. Friday's game was his second multi-hit showing over his last 14 contests.
