      Advice: Hader put together a vintage performance to help the Astros get by the Angels, which included striking out the side in the 10th inning. He's now pitched multiple frames in two of his last three outings and is showing signs of dominance once again after a rough start to the year. Over his last 11 games, Hader has a 1.26 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB in 14.1 innings, which equates to a 44.4 strikeout rate.       Orioles manager Brandon Hyde mostly confirmed Monday that Craig Kimbrel is again Baltimore’s closer.

      Advice: It’s no surprise after Kimbrel picked up a clean save Sunday, but confirmation is always nice. MASN’s Steve Melewski quoted Hyde as saying: “Well yeah, I think so. Probably.       Kimbrel pitched a clean ninth inning, striking out two to pick up a save Sunday against the Mariners.

      Advice: It appears Kimbrel has found his groove again, and he was rewarded with a save opportunity while posting his fourth consecutive appearance without allowing a hit or a walk. It was the first save since May 3 for Kimbrel, who had posted a 16.20 ERA and 4.50 WHIP over 3.1 innings in the six outings prior to this most recent four-game stretch.       Advice: Bednar took the loss in Saturday's game versus the Cubs, but he bounced back with a scoreless inning for his 10th save of the season.       David Bednar slammed the door on the Cubs in the ninth inning on Sunday afternoon, preserving a one-run lead to earn his 10th save of the season.

      Advice: It hasn’t always been easy for Bednar this season, but he has been much better of late and made things look easy on Sunday. He got Christopher Morel on a pop out to shortstop and Ian Happ on a pop out to third base to start the inning before issuing a two-out walk to Michael Busch.       Getting a chance to close for the first time since May 8, Craig Kimbrel struck out two in a perfect ninth Sunday against the Mariners.

      Advice: This was truly easing him back into the closer’s role; not only did he have a three-run lead, but he was getting the bottom third of the Mariners lineup. Kimbrel has allowed just one batter to reach in four scoreless innings since his May 8 outing knocked him out of the closer’s role for a spell.       Advice: Hader made quick work of the Brewers, needing just 12 pitches to snag his sixth save of the year. After a disastrous start to his Astros career -- a 9.39 ERA with one save through nine appearances -- Hader has seemingly settled in with his new team. He's allowed just two earned runs over his last 12.1 innings, lowering his season ERA to 4.50. He's riding a 5.1-inning scoreless streak with three saves and a win during that span.
