    • Racks up three hits in win
Donovan went 3-for-4 with one RBI in Monday's 4-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Donovan has been dialed in for much of June. He's hit safely in 17 of his last 18 games, going 26-for-71 (.366) with seven extra-base hits and 14 RBI in that span. The 27-year-old is up to a .269/.333/.420 slash line with eight home runs, 39 RBI, 35 runs scored, 17 doubles, one triple and one stolen base over 72 contests. While he's mostly lost out on leadoff opportunities to Masyn Winn, Donovan is still hitting well deeper in the lineup. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:51 am

    • Doubles twice, scores three runs
India batted leadoff and went 3-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Monday's win over Pittsburgh.

Advice: India, who replaced the injured TJ Friedl (hamstring) atop Cincinnati's batting order, picked up a hit and scored a run in each of the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. It was his third straight multi-hit game, boosting his season OPS from .696 to .732 in the process. He's gone 11-for-23 (.478) with five extra-base hits over his last six games. India is now slashing .258/.363/.369 with 16 extra-base this and 33 runs scored through 71 games. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:45 pm
    • Donovan stays hot with three-hit game Monday
Brendan Donovan went 3-for-4 with an RBI against the Braves on Monday.

Advice: Donovan’s RBI single in the third inning off Braves starter Spencer Schwellenbach gave the Cardinals a 3-0 lead. He now has a hit in eight consecutive games and 17 of his last 18 games. Donovan is 26-for-71 (.366) with four home runs and 14 RBI in his last 18 games. His season average is up to .269 with a .753 OPS and 39 RBI. Rotoworld Monday, 7:30 pm

    • Idle against lefty
Biggio is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Biggio will once again hit the bench while the Dodgers face off against a lefty starter (Garrett Crochet) for the third time in four games. Platoon mate Enrique Hernandez gets the nod at third base in Biggio's stead. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:20 pm

    • Playing time trending upward
Espinal will start at third base and bat seventh in Monday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Espinal will occupy third base for the fifth time in six games, with three of those starts coming against right-handers. For the second time during that stretch, Espinal will take aim at Pirates lefty Bailey Falter, who takes the hill for the Pirates on Monday. Espinal will carry a five-game hitting streak into Monday's contest, and he could end up handling a near-everyday role in the Cincinnati infield until the team elects to reinstate Noelvi Marte (suspension) to the big-league roster. Marte's 80-game suspension comes to an end Thursday, but he's struggled during his rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville and could be optioned if the Reds prefer to hand Espinal regular playing time. • Taking seat Monday
Ortiz is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Ortiz had started each of the previous 10 contests but will begin this one on the bench. Andruw Monasterio will cover third base while Ortiz gets some rest. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:17 pm

    • Draws third straight start
Urias will start at third base and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: Urias looks to be gaining traction in Baltimore's everyday lineup, as he'll pick up his third straight start Monday and fifth start in six games. The uptick in playing time has corresponded with Urias' surge at the plate; dating back to May 27, he's slashing .293/.349/.517 over a stretch of 19 games. Jorge Mateo looks to be the primary loser from a playing-time perspective from Urias' uptick in starts, as he'll hit the bench Monday for the third time in five games. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:50 am

    • Rough start in leadoff role
Schuemann hit leadoff in both of the Athletics' games against the Twins over the weekend after Abraham Toro's (hamstring) placement on the injured list, going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts.

Advice: Schuemann, who went into Saturday's game having reached safely in four straight, may not be long for the top of the order given the results, although manager Mark Kotsay might exhibit some patience. Toro has put together a .240 average and .613 OPS as the leadoff hitter this season, so the standard he's set isn't extraordinarily high by any means. Nevertheless, there are several other candidates Kotsay could turn to for the role, so Schuemann, who's most frequently hit in the No. 7 and No. 9 spots this season, could soon shift back down the order. • Picks up fifth steal
Gorman went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Giants.

Advice: Gorman got aboard on a fielder's choice and picked up a steal for the second game in a row. The second baseman has gone 0-for-9 with a hit-by-pitch and two sacrifice flies over his last three contests. He's gone 17 games without a multi-hit effort, batting a poor .078 (5-for-64) in that span, though two of those hits have been homers. The slump has him down to a .194/.272/.421 slash line with 16 home runs, 36 RBI, five steals and 31 runs scored across 70 contests. Gorman's struggled to hit for average over his three years in the majors, and a career-worst 35.9 percent strikeout rate isn't doing him any favors in 2024. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:33 pm
