      Advice: Singleton tied the ballgame up in the sixth with a 432-foot blast to center field for his fifth home run of the year and his first since May 9. He now has six hits and four RBI over his last five games and continues to step up with the Astros looking for production at first base after Jose Abreu's early-season struggles.       Advice: Paredes plated Josh Lowe and Randy Arozarena on a first-inning double to give the Rays an early lead.       Advice: The first baseman clubbed his fifth homer of the campaign, taking Dennis Santana yard in the seventh frame.       Advice: Renfroe has gone 6-for-24 (.250) with five RBI over his last seven contests. While that's still modest hitting, it's a vast improvement on his .160 batting average for the season. Despite the middling results at the plate, Renfroe has started six of the last eight games in right field and appears to have fended off challenges for playing time from Dairon Blanco and Adam Frazier that popped up earlier in May.       Luke Raley went 1-for-5 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Yankees.

      Advice: Raley is now hitting .306 on the season and has four home runs and 12 RBI to his name in 38 games. The lefty is riding a hot hand at the moment and is currently sitting on an eight-game hitting streak. Raley has absolutely raked this month, going 21-for-53 (.396) with seven extra-base hits.       Justin Turner went 1-for-3 with a double in the Blue Jays’ loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: Turner ended a seven-game hitless streak in this one, but he and the Jays struggled to get the offense going. Toronto managed just two hits and a walk on the evening while striking out nine times as a team. Turner, who hit .300 through the first month of the season, is hitting a dismal .085 in the month of May, going 4-for-47 at the plate.     • Mark Vientos has two hits, HR in loss to Guardians
      Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

      Advice: Vientos got a rare start against a right-handed pitcher and delivered a double and a home run on the night. The home run was admittedly on a hanging breaking ball that just sat at the top of the zone, but Vientos still crushed it 430 feet at 111 mph off the bat. He followed that up in the next inning with a 106.5 mph double, which gave him the two hardest-hit balls of the night. With Brett Baty struggling, there’s a chance that Vientos will have an opportunity to claim the starting third base role in New York, so he deserves to be added while he’s swinging the bat like this.       Advice: Paredes singled home two runs in the bottom of the first to give the Rays an early lead. Unfortunately, it would be the only two runs the Rays would score on the evening, as the lineup remained limited for much of the afternoon despite Paredes’ three-hit night.
