    • Justin Turner drives in lone run for Blue Jays
Justin Turner went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: The Jays offense was stifled once again. Turner’s RBI single was their only sign of life and he had three of the team’s six hard-hit balls on the day. The ageless Turner is sporting a respectable .251 average and .734 OPS. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:38 pm

    • Sitting versus lefty
Mountcastle is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The 27-year-old's omission from the lineup is surprising since southpaw Andrew Heaney is taking the mound for Texas. Mountcastle has an .853 OPS versus lefties this season and was also held out of the lineup for Saturday's contest, so it's possible he's dealing with an injury or illness, though nothing has been reported at this point. The lefty-hitting Ryan O'Hearn will instead start at first base Sunday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:16 pm
    • Ryan Mountcastle out again Sunday vs. Rangers
Ryan Mountcastle is not in the lineup Sunday against the Rangers.

Advice: This makes back-to-back games Mountcastle has missed, but there’s been no injury update. The first baseman will get another day off with Ryan O’Hearn starting at first base and Heston Kjerstad as the designated hitter. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:24 pm
    • Goes deep in win
Tellez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 4-2 win against Atlanta.

Advice: Tellez continued his hot month of June, as he now has three of his four homers and 14 of his 22 RBI for the season over his last 19 games. He had a .940 OPS in June after entering the month with a .463 OPS for the season. The 29-year-old is turning the corner and has elevated his slash line to .230/.286/.332 for the campaign. • Retreating to bench vs. lefty
Wade is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: The platoon-happy Giants will hold out Wade and fellow lefty-hitting regulars Michael Conforto and Brett Wisely while the Dodgers send a southpaw (James Paxton) to the hill. David Villar will check in at first base in place of Wade, who went 2-for-9 with a double, a walk and a run scored in the first two games of the series following his return from a month-long stay on the injured list due to a hamstring strain. • Hitting bench in series finale
Carpenter is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Carpenter had gone 3-for-6 with a double, a walk, two runs and two RBI while starting in each of the Cardinals' previous three matchups versus righties, but he'll take a seat Sunday even as Cincinnati brings righty Hunter Greene to the mound. Though the Cardinals still seem to view Carpenter as their primary designated hitter against righties, he'll head to the bench any time manager Oliver Marmol wants to give one his other everyday players a day out of the field. Willson Contreras will cede catching duties to Pedro Pages on Sunday while he replaces Carpenter at DH. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:16 am
    • Tellez swats two-run homer in win over Atlanta
Rowdy Tellez hit a two-run homer to help the Pirates to a win over Atlanta on Sunday.

Advice: Tellez doubled the Pittsburgh lead with a two-run homer off Spencer Schwellenbach in the fifth inning. The 29-year-old has gone deep just four times in his 196 at-bats in 2024, and his slash of .230/.286/.322 doesn’t offer much fantasy relevance from the first base position. • Returning from four-game absence
Candelario (hamstring) will serve as the Reds' designated hitter and No. 3 batter in Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: After missing out on four straight starts due to hamstring tendinitis, Candelario will draw back into the lineup in a non-defensive role as he makes his fifth start of the season at DH. With Noelvi Marte recently completing his 80-game suspension and likely to see the bulk of the starts at third base moving forward, Candelario could end up picking up most of his playing time at either DH or first base, which should aid his recovery from the hamstring issue. • Crushes second homer
Noel went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Royals.

Advice: In his fourth big-league game, Noel launched his second big-league homer, and it wasn't a cheap one -- the 22-year-old ripped a Cole Ragans slider down the left-field line in the fourth inning, and the ball left his bat at 115.4 mph. Per Mandy Bell of MLB.com, it was the hardest-hit home run by a Cleveland player since Statcast was introduced in 2015. Noel has started two of four games since his promotion, going 3-for-9 with a double in addition to the long balls, but the Guardians will find room for him in the lineup more often if he keeps displaying this kind of power.
