      Miller didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Astros, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk across six innings. He struck out three.

      Advice: Miller kept a clean sheet through five innings before surrendering a two-run home run to Kyle Tucker in the sixth and a two-run shot to Jon Singleton in the seventh -- a long ball that got Miller pulled. The outing marked Miller's third time allowing multiple homers this season and his three strikeouts were a season low. Through 41.1 innings, Miller owns a 2.61 ERA and a 42:13 K:BB.     • Ohtani has four hits, two HR in win over ATL
      Shohei Ohtani went 4-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored in a 5-1 win over the Braves on Sunday.

      Advice: This guy is pretty good. Ohtani got things started in the first inning with a 412-foot two-run shot off of Max Fried and then absolutely annihilated a 464-foot solo homer in the eighth inning that left the bat at 110.6 mph.     • Swats first-inning homer
      Lindor went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Rays.

      Advice: Lindor got the Mets on the board right away, clubbing a two-run shot off Ryan Pepiot as the third batter of the game. The long ball was Lindor's sixth of the season and marked his third time logging multiple RBI in his last four games.     • James McArthur blows save in ninth, loses in 10th
      James McArthur took a blown save and a loss after allowing two runs — one earned — between the ninth and 10th innings Sunday against the Rangers.

      Advice: McArthur blew the save by giving up a game-tying homer to Jonah Heim in the ninth. In spite of that, the Royals stuck with him in the 10th. He allowed only the automatic runner to score, but the Royals couldn’t let him off the hook from there. It’s not the kind of outing that will reflect particularly badly on him.       Soto went 1-for-4 with three RBI during Sunday's 5-2 win over the Tigers. He struck out twice.

      Advice: Soto had a rough go of it against Detroit starter Tarik Skubal, striking out twice against the tough lefty. However, Soto fared much better against southpaw reliever Andrew Chafin, clearing the bases with a seventh inning double to break a 2-2 tie and provide the winning runs for the Yankees. Soto's average stands at .316 with a .980 OPS, including eight homers, 28 RBI, 23 runs and four steals over 136 at-bats during his first season in the Bronx.       McArthur (1-1) blew a save and picked up the loss after he pitched two innings, surrendering two runs (one earned) on four hits while striking out three batters in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning defeat to the Rangers.

      Advice: McArthur entered the game with the Royals up 2-1 in the top of the ninth inning and gave up a game-tying solo home run to Jonah Heim with one out in the inning. He later returned for the top of the 10th frame, allowing the inherited runner to score on an RBI single by Nathaniel Lowe. The blown save was McArthur's second in nine total save opportunities this season, and he currently possesses a 2.87 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with 18 strikeouts over 15.2 innings in 13 appearances this season.       Advice: Cortes matched a season high with nine strikeouts, as he allowed only four baserunners in the contest. Cortes shut out the Tigers through six but was pulled with one out in the seventh after allowing two base hits in the inning. Both runners eventually came around to score, tying the game and ending Cortes' bid to earn his second win. It was the fourth quality start in eight games for Cortes, who lowered his ERA to 3.72 with a 1.03 WHIP and 46 strikeouts through 48.1 innings.       Cruz went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.

      Advice: Cruz' go-ahead no-doubter to right-center in the sixth put the Pirates up for good. Cruz, who also doubled, collected his first multi-hit game in 12 games and only his third since April 6.     • Juan Soto propels Yankees past Tigers on Sunday
      Juan Soto delivered a go-ahead three-run double in the seventh inning on Sunday, propelling the Yankees to a 5-2 victory over the Tigers in the Bronx.

      Advice: The Tigers came back with a pair of runs to tie the game in the top half of the seventh inning, but the Yankees’ bats went right back to work in the home half of the frame. They loaded the bases against Shelby Miller with a single and a pair of walks, then Soto greeted Andrew Chafin with a three-run double into right field to put the Bombers back on top to stay. The 25-year-old superstar finished the day 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts and is now hitting .316/.421/.559 with eight homers, 28 RBI and four stolen bases on the season.
