The 28-year-old Bellinger is now 7-for-13 with a pair of home runs in three games since returning from the IL.       Advice: A great night, but somehow, he drove in only himself despite his other three hits all coming with men on base. His first double produced a run, but it actually scored on a Yasmani Grandal error when Nico Hoerner should have been out at home plate.       Isaac Paredes went 1-for-3 with a double and drove in the Rays’ lone run in Wednesday evening’s loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: The hard-hitting 25-year-old infielder got the Rays on the board first with a run-scoring double off of Chris Flexen in the fourth inning. That would wind up being their only tally in the contest though. Paredes also drew a walk in the ballgame, reaching base safely in two of his four plate appearances.       Advice: Bellinger returned from the injured list Tuesday after missing about two weeks with a fractured ribcage, but he didn't seem to skip a beat. Dating back to before his injury, the 28-year-old is now riding a nine-game hitting streak, and he's gone deep four times in that span, giving him six home runs for the season. Bellinger extended his hitting streak to nine games in this one, and continues to look hot after getting off to a slow start through the first two weeks of the season.       Advice: Paredes ripped an absolute moonshot to left field in the sixth inning off Chicago reliever Brad Keller for his eighth round-tripper of the season. It was the first time he’s gone deep since April 28. The 25-year-old pull-happy slugger has been a four-category fantasy monster this season with a .299 batting average through 34 contests.     • Cubs activate Cody Bellinger for Tuesday return
      Cubs activated 1B/OF Cody Bellinger from the 10-day injured list.

      Advice: Bellinger will make his return to Chicago’s lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Padres following a two-week absence due to a rib fracture. The 28-year-old slugger was off to a bit of a slow start at the dish this season, batting .226/.320/.440 with five homers and 17 RBI in 97 plate appearances over 22 contests before a collision with the center-field wall back on April 23 resulted in a rib injury.
