    • Corey Seager homers in return to lineup Wednesday
Corey Seager with 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk to power the Rangers to a 3-2 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Seager made his return to the lineup on Wednesday, hitting second as the designated hitter. With two runners on base in the fifth inning, he put the Rangers on the board with a three-run blast off Walker Buehler to give Texas the lead. The three runs would be all the Rangers needed to pick up the win over Los Angeles. The 30-year-old shortstop is slashing .271/.362/.484 with 14 homers and 33 RBI across 254 plate appearances. • Back in lineup
Seager (hamstring) will serve as Texas' designated hitter and bat second Wednesday versus the Dodgers.

Advice: Seager hasn't played since he left last Wednesday's game against the Tigers due to a sore left hamstring, but he has now been given the green light to return to the lineup in a non-defensive role. The 30-year-old shortstop has tallied at least one base hit in 17 of his last 18 games and is slashing .354/.462/.800 with nine home runs and 15 RBI in that span. • Corey Seager (hamstring) rejoins Rangers’ lineup
Corey Seager (hamstring) returned to the Rangers’ starting lineup for Wednesday night’s battle against the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Advice: Seager hasn’t played since leaving Wednesday’s game with a mild hamstring strain. It’s the first time that the 30-year-old superstar shortstop will play in Dodgers’ stadium as a visitor. He’s been terrific at the dish when healthy this season — slashing .271/.360/.472 with 13 homers and 30 RBI in just 57 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:51 pm

    • Smacks go-ahead homer
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run during Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Freeman stepped into the batter's box in the seventh with the score tied 2-2 and delivered a three-run home run on the first pitch from A.J. Puk. The long ball was his sixth and marked the second time he's driven in three batters in a game this season. Freeman is slashing .222/.319/.374 with 35 runs scored across 231 plate appearances. • Tyler Freeman has two hits, HR in win over MIA
Tyler Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 6-3 win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Freeman was hitting second in the order with a left-hander on the mound, which is a nice boost to his fantasy value since he had moved down in the order with both Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez back. Freeman has just 27 RBI on the season, so being able to stay up in the order in some starts will help his counting stats. He also now has six home runs and eight RBI in his first season as a starter and if his .234 BABIP improves, he could be a .250 hitter moving forward as well. That’s a worthy profile in deeper formats. Rotoworld Jun 9, 2:51 pm

    • Stays hot Saturday
Swanson went 3-for-4 with a walk, two doubles and an RBI in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Reds.

Advice: It's a small sample, but over his last five games, Swanson has gone 7-for-19 with four extra-base hits, including a home run in Friday's contest. On the season, the shortstop is batting just .220 with a .658 OPS, though if he continues his recent level of play, his overall stats will start to look better. Swanson will see ample playing time moving forward as long as he's healthy, so he should remain locked into fantasy lineups as he heats up. Rotowire.com Jun 9, 7:34 am

    • Swanson has three hits in loss Saturday
Dansby Swanson went 3-for-4 with a walk, two doubles and an RBI against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Swanson brought his average up to .220 with the three-hit effort. He’s following up a down season last year, when he hit .244, with even worse production this year. His 27 percent strikeout percentage would be the highest of his career and his .147 ISO would be the lowest. Maybe Saturday is the start of a turnaround for Swanson, but there haven’t been a lot of positives for him this season. Rotoworld Jun 8, 4:07 pm

    • Pops sixth homer
Swanson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Reds.

Advice: The shortstop took Nick Lodolo deep in the sixth inning, but the Cubs were already in a 3-0 hole at that point. Swanson is beginning to show faint signs of life at the plate -- while he's batting just .233 (7-for-30) over the last eight games, four of those hits have gone for extra bases, including two of his six homers on the year. His 1:10 BB:K over that stretch remains an eyesore, however, and his .628 OPS and 28.5 percent strikeout rate on the season would both be career worsts. Rotowire.com Jun 8, 6:21 am
