    • Homers, triples in losing effort
Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, triple, two RBI and a walk Sunday against the Tigers.

Advice: Devers third-inning triple plated a run while his solo blast in the eighth knotted the game at four and set the stage for extra innings. It was the second triple and 11th homer of the season for Devers, who entered the game in a mini 1-for-10 slump since accumulating four hits against the Orioles on Tuesday. It was also the first dinger for Devers since hitting homers in six-consecutive games from May 15-20. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:17 pm
    • Rafael Devers homers, triples, walks versus Tigers
Rafael Devers homered, tripled and walked Sunday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Devers has done his best work this season batting second, and the Red Sox might have won today had they had him in that spot behind Jarren Duran, who was on base four times. Instead, they had him batting fourth behind Dominic Smith of all people. Devers did drive in Smith with the triple, but the homer was a solo shot. It was his first game with multiple extra-base hits since he doubled twice on May 3. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
    • Sean Murphy drives in go-ahead run
Sean Murphy went 1-for-3 with a run-scoring double in a 3-1 win over the Athletics on Sunday. He also walked.

Advice: Murphy delivered the big blow against his former team on Sunday as he still tries to get his feet wet this season. The double was his first extra-base hit so far in just his fifth game after straining his oblique on opening day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:27 pm
    • Three-hit night in rout
Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI singles and a run in a win over the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Teammates J.P. Crawford and Luke Raley connected for big blasts, but Rodriguez took a peskier approach with his constant presence on the basepaths. The star outfielder brought home Ryan Bliss in both the third and sixth innings via timely singles, and Rodriguez eventually also crossed the plate with the final run of the night following the latter knock. Rodriguez now has three multi-RBI tallies in the last seven games, a stretch during which he's also recorded four multi-hit efforts and posted a .429 average (12-for-28). • Candelario has two-hit game in loss Saturday
Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-5 with an RBI against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: It was a relatively quiet night for the Reds offense. Despite scoring five runs, four of them were unearned thanks to an error by Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki. Candelario chipped in later with an RBI single. After hitting .189 in April, he hit .247 with three home runs in 24 games in May. Candelario has had a wRC+ of at least 117 in two of the previous three seasons. Look for him to get hot with the bat again soon. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:45 pm

    • Rodriguez has three-hit game Saturday
Julio Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Rodriguez started the scoring with an RBI single in the third inning and added another RBI single in the sixth inning to put the Mariners ahead 7-0. He’s now up to .273 with 23 RBI on the season. Rodriguez hasn’t lived up to his first round draft status so far this season because his power has nosedived. His .071 ISO this year is over 100 points lower than his career .192 ISO. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:43 pm
    • Back in lineup Saturday
Varsho (illness) will start in center field and bat second Saturday versus the Pirates.

Advice: Varsho will return to the lineup after missing Friday's 5-3 win due to food poisoning. The 27-year-old has struggled to a .157 average with seven extra-base hits, including four homers, over his last 18 contests. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:55 am

    • Daulton Varsho back in lineup Saturday vs. Pirates
Daulton Varsho (illness) returned to the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: Varsho is back in center field and batting second on Saturday after missing Friday’s 14-inning marathon due to food poisoning. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:36 am

    • Resting Saturday
Murphy isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Saturday's game against Oakland.

Advice: Murphy has gone just 2-for-13 since returning from the injured list, so he'll get a chance to regroup Saturday while Travis d'Arnaud starts behind the dish, batting sixth. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:11 am
