    • Rutschman has two hits in win over Yankees
Adley Rutschman went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: It wasn’t an exceptional day for Rutschman on Tuesday, but he was the only Oriole to pick up multiple hits. His two singles upped his triple slash to .322/.362/.449 with 18 RBI on the season. He has a surprisingly low 5.7 percent walk rate on the season, but the rest of the profile has been exactly as expected for one of the best fantasy catchers in the game. • Homers in consecutive games
Rutschman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Rutschman homered for the second game in a row, doubling his total for the year to four. The catcher also struck out three times Sunday and is now striking out at a 16.0 percent rate. He's added 17 RBI, 17 runs scored and a .318/.361/.455 slash line through 119 plate appearances. Rutschman has maintained more playing time than the average catcher this year, as manager Brandon Hyde has often put him at designated hitter when he's not behind the dish. • Clubs third homer
Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-0 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Rutschman is on fire with an eight-game hitting streak, going 15-for-36 (.417) in that span with two homers, nine RBI and four runs scored. The catcher's surge has him up to a .324/.368/.438 slash line with three homers, 16 RBI, 16 runs scored and three doubles through 25 games. Rutschman's power numbers are more or less in line with his first two seasons and he's making more contact, but he's also posted a 6.1 percent walk rate so far. He's locked in as the Orioles' No. 2 hitter. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:06 pm

    • Adley Rutchman goes yard in win over A’s
Adley Rutchman went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Incredibly, Rutchman has had only five games this season in which he did not record a hit. He extended his current streak to eight games with a solo homer in the fifth inning off of JP Sears. The 26-year-old star catcher is batting .324/.368/.438 with three homers, 16 runs scored, and 16 RBI across 114 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:27 pm

    • Resting Thursday
Heim is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Heim looks to be receiving some routine maintenance as the Rangers and Mariners wrap up their series with a day game after a night game. Andrew Knizner will get the starting nod behind the plate. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:52 am

    • Resumes catching work
Murphy (oblique) was able to catch bullpen sessions Tuesday and Wednesday but has yet to resume swinging a bat, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Murphy's ability to throw at full strength while donning his full catching equipment represents a positive step forward in his recovery from a Grade 1 left oblique strain, but until he starts swinging the bat again, his return from the 10-day injured list shouldn't be viewed as imminent. The backstop has been on the shelf since March 30 with the injury. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 6:35 pm

    • Three hits in Tuesday's loss
Rutschman went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Rutschman is on a tear during his five-game hitting streak, going 11-for-24 (.458) with seven RBI in that span. All three of his hits Tuesday were singles, and he has just two extra-base hits during the active streak. Rutschman continues to cement his status as one of the top catchers in baseball with a .323/.366/.419 slash line with two home runs, 14 RBI and 15 runs scored over 101 plate appearances this season. • Hitless in return
Heim went 0-for-2 with a walk in Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Heim returned to the team following a stint on bereavement leave. Texas' starting catcher is batting .257/.286/.419 with three home runs, three doubles, 15 RBI and seven runs scored over 77 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:14 am

    • Returns from bereavement
The Rangers activated Heim from the bereavement list Tuesday.

Advice: Heim was away from the club for two games while tending to more urgent personal matters. Sam Huff had been up briefly to back up Andrew Knizner, but he's now returned to Triple-A Round Rock with Heim set to resume his role as the Rangers' everyday catcher. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:16 am
