    Advice: Getting the start in center field in the opener and at third base in the second contest, Vierling was locked in at the plate no matter where he was stationed on the diamond. The 27-year-old crushed a three-run homer off Jared Jones in the fifth inning of an 8-0 win to kick off the twin bill, then launched a solo shot off Paul Skenes in the sixth inning of a 10-2 loss later in the afternoon.     Matt Vierling homered for the fourth time in his last three games on Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Tigers past the Pirates in the second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.

    Advice: After belting a pair of home runs — including a walk-off — on Sunday, and crushing a three-run shot in the first game on Wednesday, Vierling tagged Paul Skenes for a 373-foot solo shot in the sixth inning of the nightcap.   • Wyatt Langford delivers RBI single in victory
    Wyatt Langford went 2-for-4 with an RBI single on Wednesday in the Rangers’ win over the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: Welcome back, Wyatt. After going 0-for-3 on Tuesday in his return from the injured list following a three-week absence recovering from a hamstring strain, Langford extended the Rangers’ late lead with an eighth-inning RBI single to left field to pick up his 12th RBI of the season. The 22-year-old top prospect represents an excellent buy-low target for fantasy managers in re-draft formats given his immense raw talent and everyday opportunity as part of Texas’ loaded lineup.     Matt Vierling went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI against the Pirates in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.

    Advice: Vierling has three homers and eight runs batted in in his last two games. His season OPS is up to .811, and especially now that Kerry Carpenter is on the IL, he should be a fixture against righties and lefties alike for at least the next couple of weeks.     Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Nationals.

    Advice: The veteran slugger broke open a scoreless tie when he took Jacob Barnes deep in the seventh inning, continuing his most recent hit streak.
