• Yandy Díaz puts Rays ahead with two-run single
Yandy Díaz went 1-for-4 with a walk and big two-run single in a win against the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Díaz’s go-ahead single was scalded at 110.4 MPH. He’s had a slow start to the season, but raised his average from .202 to .253 since May 3rd. Rotoworld Today, 7:20 pm

  • Rafael Devers homers in loss to Rays
Rafael Devers went 1-for-4 with a solo shot on Wednesday.

Advice: The home run was Devers’ fifth of the season and cut the Rays lead to one run late. He also had a 108.6 MPH groundout in the 8th inning. He’s been his usual, excellent self this season slashing .281/.383/.871 through 32 games. Rotoworld Today, 7:20 pm

  • Plays catch Wednesday
Jung (wrist) played catch on the field prior to Wednesday's game against the Guardians, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Playing catch amounts to Jung's first known baseball activity since he underwent surgery April 2 to address a fractured right wrist. While being able to throw with his surgically repaired wrist is a step in the right direction, hitting high-velocity pitching will be the real test for Jung. He still looks to be a week or more away from doing that, as Rangers general manager Chris Young previously said that Jung is facing an 8-to-10-week recovery timeline after more damage to his wrist than expected was detected when surgery was performed, per MLB.com. Fantasy managers shouldn't bank on Jung returning from the IL until around early-to-mid June in a best-case scenario. Rotowire.com Today, 4:44 pm

  • Day off Wednesday
Gorman isn't in the Cardinals' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Gorman will get a day to clear his head after striking out four times during Tuesday's win over the Halos. Brendan Donovan will fill in at the keystone Wednesday while Alec Burleson, Mike Siani and Lars Nootbaar start across the outfield. Rotowire.com Today, 3:44 pm

  • Playing time picking up
Mastrobuoni will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against Atlanta, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: With Dansby Swanson (knee) recently going on the injured list and with Nico Hoerner (hamstring) out of the lineup for the second day in a row, Mastrobuoni has been the main beneficiary from a playing-time perspective. He'll draw his fifth start in seven games Wednesday and could continue to see fairly steady playing time in the middle infield even if Hoerner avoids a trip to the IL. Rotowire.com Today, 1:48 pm

  • Austin Riley (side) still out of action Wednesday
Austin Riley (side) remains out of the Braves’ starting lineup for Wednesday nights matchup against the CUbs.

Advice: It’ll be the third straight game that the 27-year-old slugger has missed since leaving Sunday’s contest with inflammation in his left side. Once again, Zack Short will draw a start at third base and will bat ninth against right-hander Javier Assad and the Cubs. Rotoworld Today, 1:15 pm

  • Jordan Westburg homers as leadoff man
Batting leadoff for the first time, Jordan Westburg went 2-for-5 with a homer versus the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: Manager Brandon Hyde indicated before the game that this wasn’t a permanent move. Westburg, though, has a case for hitting high in the order regularly. He’s batting .301/.354/.534 with seven homers and five steals in 159 plate appearances. Prior to today, he had hit third once but never higher than fifth otherwise. Rotoworld Today, 1:14 pm

  • Justin Turner comes off bench in return
Justin Turner returned to action Wednesday, finishing 0-for-2 off the bench against the Orioles.

Advice: Turner missed the previous two games because of illness. He’ll now have another day to recuperate, as the Jays don’t play Thursday. Rotoworld Today, 1:14 pm

  • Sitting in third straight game
Riley (side) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: He'll miss out on a third straight start while he manages left side inflammation, but with the benefit of some added rest in the form of a team off day Thursday, Riley could be healthy enough to rejoin the starting nine for Friday's series opener versus the Padres. Zack Short will make another start at third base in Riley's place Wednesday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:10 pm
