    Advice: Facing the team he spent two-plus seasons with before getting dealt to the Dodgers last July, Lynn struggled to find the strike zone on a rainy day and exited the game after 94 pitches (53 strikes). The veteran right-hander has worked at least five innings in five straight outings, and this was the first time in 2024 he's been tagged for more than four runs.   • Removed with wrist injury Saturday
    Ruiz suffered a wrist injury on a diving catch in the sixth inning of Saturday's win over the Marlins and was removed from the game, MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Ruiz appeared to hurt his glove hand and remained down for a brief time following the catch, cradling his left wrist as he exited the field with team trainers.     Turnbull will be available out of the Phillies' bullpen Sunday versus the Giants, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

    Advice: It could wind up being a piggyback situation with Taijuan Walker, although manager Rob Thomson didn't explicitly say that would be the case. Turnbull has earned a spot in the Phillies' rotation with a 1.67 ERA and 36:10 K:BB in 32.1 innings, but the team also wants to keep an eye on his workload since he hasn't thrown more than 56.2 innings in a season since 2019.     Advice: The 32-year-old southpaw faced Ivan Herrera with the bases loaded and two outs after a rain delay that lasted over three hours interrupted the 10th inning, and Banks got the job done on four pitches. John Brebbia had originally gotten the call in the save situation before the delay, while Michael Kopech pitched the ninth, so Banks' usage was more due to the unusual circumstances than his prominence in the White Sox bullpen. He also walked twice in the one-sided affair to reach base safely in four of his five plate appearances at a rain-soaked Citizens Bank Park. The 26-year-old second baseman hasn’t exactly come out of the gate on fire, but he holds a respectable .240/.330/.375 triple-slash line with three homers, 16 RBI and six steals through 30 games.     Advice: Suárez was staked to a commanding nine-run advantage by the start of the third inning at a rain-soaked Citizens Bank Park, and wound up cruising to a relatively easy victory, gobbling up six frames before handing an 11-run lead over to Philadelphia’s bullpen. The 28-year-old southpaw isn’t overpowering, but he’s been extremely effective this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in seven consecutive starts.     Keaton Winn was lit up for five runs and recorded only two outs on Saturday in a loss to the Phillies.

    Advice: Winn struggled mightily following a lengthy rain delay just prior to first pitch, departing after throwing 39 pitches (24 strikes) and recording only two outs in a disastrous opening frame. He gave up four hits, issued a pair of walks, hit one batter and failed to record a strikeout. It was a rare clunker for the 26-year-old righty after reeling off six straight quality outings to open the year. We’re happy to chalk it up to the extremely poor, rain-soaked conditions and willing to give Winn a muligan here. He’ll bring a 4.41 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 28/12 K/BB ratio across 34 2/3 innings (seven starts) into a tough road matchup on Thursday afternoon against the Rockies at Coors Field.     Advice: The right-hander blanked St. Louis for four innings despite issuing free passes in the first, second and fourth frames, but his luck ran out in the fifth. Fortunately for Fedde, the White Sox came back to tie the game up after he left the mound before winning in the 10th. Fedde threw only 48 of 91 pitches for strikes in his shortest outing of the season, and he has walked at least three batters in three of his last five starts.
