    • Adley Rutschman homers in loss to Arizona
Adley Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a home run in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Rutschman took a Zac Gallen offering and hit it 363 feet at 105.5 mph for his sixth home run of the season. The 26-year-old continues to be a solid performer at the top of the Orioles’ lineup and one of the best catchers in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Today, 3:03 pm

    • Yandy Díaz homers in second straight game
Yandy Díaz went 1-for-4 with a walk, a home run, and two runs scored in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Díaz had a strong series against the Yankees, going 6-for-11 with two home runs across the three games. He’s starting to heat up a bit at the plate and has raised his slash line to .250/.313/.356 with three home runs and 19 RBI. The Rays lineup should trend up in the coming months, and Díaz could be starting to heat up as the summer approaches. Now might be the time to try and see if you can acquire him in a trade. • Brandon Nimmo (ribs) hopes to return on Monday
Brandon Nimmo (intercostal) expects to return to the Mets’ lineup on Monday.

Advice: The 31-year-old outfielder was pulled from Saturday’s game due to right intercostal irritation. He tried to talk manager Carlos Mendoza into letting him play on Sunday, but was unable to convince him. It does not sound like he’ll require a trip to the injured list though and should return to the Mets’ lineup for Monday’s series opener against the Phillies. Rotoworld Today, 1:29 pm

    • Getting Sunday off
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Arenado will be out of the lineup for Sunday's game in Milwaukee, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: Arenado isn't dealing with an injury, as Marmol characterized the third baseman's absence from the lineup as an off day. The 33-year-old had started each of the Cardinals' first 39 games of the season and is maintaining a .703 OPS, the lowest mark of his career. He didn't appear to be turning a corner at the plate over the first three games of the series in Milwaukee, as he went just 1-for-12 with three strikeouts. Rotowire.com Today, 8:34 am

    • Nolan Arenado getting Sunday off vs. Brewers
Nolan Arenado is not starting Sunday’s game versus the Brewers.

Advice: Arenado will get his first day off of the year. The third baseman has registered a .767 OPS in the month of May and has hit .270/.331/.372 thus far in 2024. Rotoworld Today, 8:31 am

    • Sitting in series finale
Cabrera is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against Tampa Bay.

Advice: Cabrera went 0-for-2 in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Rays and is slashing just .200/.246/.262 over his last 20 games. He finds himself on the bench for the second time in three games and could be losing hold of his regular role at third base. Jon Berti will fill in for Cabrera once again Sunday. • Kyle Schwarber remains out Sunday with back issue
Kyle Schwarber (back) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Marlins.

Advice: Schwarber is out of the lineup as expected, with the hope being that the 31-year-old can return to the lineup Monday. Bryce Harper is the designated hitter against Miami with Whit Merrifield handling third base and leading off and Alec Bohm at first base. Rotoworld Today, 8:03 am
