    • Emerges from fall uninjured
Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Morel "is fine" after exiting Saturday's game versus the Red Sox after the seventh inning following a fall in the outfield, CHGO Cubs reports.

Advice: Morel toppled over left fielder Alexander Canario after making a running catch and landed hard on the ground. He looked to be in some pain and was removed from the game at that point. However, it sounds like he probably would've remained in if the score hadn't been so lopsided. It does not appear fantasy managers need to have any worries about Morel's status. • Notches eighth save
Phillips gave up an unearned run on one hit and struck out two Saturday to record his eighth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The closer's own throwing error with two outs put Davis Schneider aboard and led to Toronto's final run, but Phillips otherwise had little trouble sealing the victory. The right-hander is a perfect 8-for-8 in converting save chances to begin the season, and he's delivered a dazzling 0.77 ERA and 15:4 K:BB through 11.2 innings. Rotowire.com 47 minutes ago

    • Evan Phillips notches eighth save on Saturday
Evan Phillips allowed one run with two strikeouts in the ninth inning against the Blue Jays on Saturday to earn the save.

Advice: Phillips was summoned with a three-run lead in the ninth against Toronto. He quickly struck out the first two batters, but put a runner on with a throwing error. A base hit would bring in a run to make it a two-run game, but Phillips would hold on to record the final out and his eighth save of the season. Rotoworld Today, 3:03 pm

    • Jose Siri underwent procedure for kidney stones
Jose Siri underwent a procedure earlier this week to resolve a kidney stone issue.

Advice: Siri returned to Tampa Bay’s lineup on Friday night after missing a couple games earlier this week to address a situation with kidney stones. The hope here is that the issue has finally been resolved and won’t impact his availability moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 8:22 am

    • Sits down against lefty
Outman isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Saturday's game against Toronto.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Outman will take a seat Saturday with southpaw Yusei Kikuchi set to start on the mound for the Jays. Chris Taylor, Andy Pages and Teoscar Hernandez will start across Los Angeles' outfield while Outman watches from the dugout. Rotowire.com Today, 8:14 am

    • One hit in return to lineup
Siri went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Friday against the White Sox.

Advice: Siri has been in and out of the lineup since Sunday while dealing with kidney stones. Per MLB.com, he had a procedure to resolve the issue and is no longer expected to be affected. Siri's performance at the plate is a different issue, as he's currently striking out at a 43.8 percent clip and could lose playing time with the imminent return of Josh Lowe (oblique). • Tallies two hits Friday
Morel went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Morel has been scuffling a bit lately, as he's batting just .176 over his last 10 games with no home runs, and he has just three long balls overall this season across 25 contests. Still, the 24-year-old is a legitimate power threat, and even though he hasn't really gotten going in that department yet, he can heat up in a hurry and hit homers in bunches. • Padres activate Manny Machado from paternity list
Padres activated INF Manny Machado from the paternity list.

Advice: Machado was away from the club over the first half of the week as he welcomed his first child — a healthy baby boy — into the world. The proud papa will start at third base for the first time all season and will bat cleanup against Aaron Nola and the Phillies on Friday evening in San Diego. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:18 pm

    • Starting at third base Friday
Machado (personal) was added to the active roster and is starting at third base for Friday's game against the Phillies, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Machado was placed on the paternity list Monday and ended up missing the Padres' last four games. What's notable about Friday's game is that Machado is starting at third base for the first time since getting surgery on his right elbow in October, while Graham Pauley serves as the designated hitter. Machado's return is a welcome one with rookie Jackson Merrill missing his second straight game due to a lingering groin issue. Machado is slashing .260/.324/.417 with four home runs and 12 RBI over 105 plate appearances to start the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:45 pm
