    • Collects two more hits Saturday
Meadows went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Reds. He was also caught stealing.

Advice: In two games since getting recalled from Triple-A Toledo, Meadows has gone 3-for-8 with a double and a home run. It's a very small sample of course, but it's still a positive sign for the 24-year-old, who struggled mightily before getting sent down in May. Meadows was seeing some time atop the order earlier in the year, though he batted eighth Saturday and will likely need to string together a few more good games before he possibly moves up in the lineup. • Homer, steal in loss
Devers went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in a 14-4 loss to the Yankees on Saturday.

Advice: Devers hit an RBI single in the third inning before stealing second and coming around to score later in the frame. He then chased Gerrit Cole in the fifth with his 26th career home run against the Yankees. The steal was just his second of the season, but the 27-year-old has slashed a fantastic .287/.373/.570 with 19 home runs, 53 RBI and 54 runs scored over 332 plate appearances. • Mixed results in no-decision
Cole did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 14-4 win against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Advice: Cole allowed three runs in a 27-pitch third inning and was pulled in the fifth after surrendering a solo home run to Rafael Devers. The righty generated an impressive 14 swinging strikes and was pushed to 90 pitches for the second consecutive outing, but he labored at times and has only completed five innings once in his first four starts of the season. The 33-year-old owns a 6.75 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB over 17.1 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Orioles next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:08 pm

    • Rafael Devers slugs 19th homer vs. Yankees
Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI against the Yankees on Saturday.

Advice: Devers knocked a base hit in the third inning to put the Red Sox on the board. He then stole second and scored on a single by Masataka Yoshida. Devers later took Gerrit Cole deep with a solo homer in the fifth. The 27-year-old third baseman is up to 19 homers while slashing .286/.372/.568 with 54 runs scored and 53 RBI across 333 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:13 pm

    • Gerrit Cole strikes out eight in no-decision Saturday
Gerrit Cole allowed four runs with eight strikeouts across 4 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Red Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Cole worked through two scoreless innings, including a base-loaded jam in the second that he escaped with a strikeout. A double, walk, and three base hits would bring three runs in to score for Boston in the third. Cole struck out the side in the fourth inning before Rafael Devers took him deep for a solo shot in the fifth. That would be it for Cole at 90 pitches. He struck out a season-high eight batters. Through four starts, the 33-year-old right-hander holds a 6.75 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, and a 19/8 K/BB ratio across 17 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Orioles in Baltimore on Friday. • Picks up 14th steal
Henderson went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Henderson has usually made an impact with power, but he flashed his speed Friday. He stole third base and scored on an error following his leadoff single in the first inning. The shortstop is 16-for-46 (.348) over his last 11 games, lifting his season slash line to .288/.379/.599 through 87 contests. He's added 27 home runs, 14 steals, 60 RBI, 76 runs scored, 18 doubles and four triples. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:40 am

    • Kyle Tucker (shin) resumes jogging on Friday
Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters that Kyle Tucker (shin) resumed jogging on Friday.

Advice: Tucker, who has been out since early June due to a right shin bruise, was able to resume hitting a couple weeks ago, and has finally resumed running again. The 27-year-old fantasy superstar isn’t going to make it back until after the upcoming Midsummer Classic, but it sounds like he’s finally starting to make some actual progress in his recovery. We don’t want to speculate wildly, but it seems like Tucker was recovering from something more serious than a mere contusion, but there’s been nothing official from the club on that front. • Nabs steal No. 20
Thomas went 2-for-6 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's extra-innings loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: The 28-year-old stole a career-high 20 bags in 157 games last season, but Thomas has massively ramped up his aggressiveness on the basepaths in 2024. Through only 59 contests, he's already matched those 20 steals in 26 attempts. He's also regaining last year's form at the plate, and over his last 15 games he's slashing .266/.329/.469 with nine of his 17 hits (six doubles, two triples and a homer) going for extra bases. • Parker Meadows made swing adjustment in minors
Parker Meadows told Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press that he made a swing adjustment at Triple-A Toledo to keep his hands up longer to be more direct to the ball.

Advice: Meadows swing adjustment was on display Friday when he launched a 410-foot solo homer off Reds rookie Carson Spiers in his return to the majors. The 24-year-old possesses an intriguing power/speed combination for fantasy purposes and if he’s unlocked something with his swing, he could be poised to make a five-category impact in the second half of the season. He’s at least worthy of a speculative pickup in deeper mixed leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:21 am
