    • Julien has two hits, home run in win over CWS
      Edouard Julien went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI in a win over the White Sox on Thursday.

      Advice: The 24-year-old hasn’t had a great start to the season, but he’s playing every day and is starting to find his groove a little at the plate. Although his season slash line is just .213/.308/.513, he has seven home runs and nine RBI and is 7-for-24 over his last six games with two home runs. With the Twins as banged up as they are, he should continue to get a chance to right the ship, and his elite plate discipline and strong batted-ball quality make him a fine waiver-wire target to see if he can keep his hot stretch going.     • Keller inconsistent in no-decision against MIL
      Mitch Keller allowed four runs on six hits in five innings in a no-decision against the Brewers.

      Advice: It wasn’t all bad for Keller, who had seven strikeouts and two walks while posting a 21 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW. He allowed only two extra-base hits on the day, but one of them was a solo home run and Keller’s fastball got hit hard throughout the day, allowing an average exit velocity of 98.1 mph. He had just five whiffs on 23 swings on the fastball and didn’t get a single whiff on either his sweeper or curve, so it was really his cutter doing all the lifting today. That’s not a recipe for success, and the right-hander will now carry a 5.14 ERA into a showdown against the A’s next week.     • Likely back at third base Saturday
      Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Thursday that Devers (knee) isn't comfortable enough yet to play third base but will likely return to the position Saturday versus the Cubs, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

      Advice: The good news is Devers is well enough to hit, as he'll be the club's designated hitter again Thursday after homering from the spot in his return to the lineup Wednesday. The Cubs are starting left-hander Shota Imanaga on Friday, so it's possible the lefty-hitting Devers will rest that day before returning to third base Saturday. With Devers (twice) and Tyler O'Neill (once) occupying the DH spot the last three days, Masataka Yoshida has been on the bench. However, it sounds like Yoshida should be back in there soon enough.       Henderson went 3-for-3 in Wednesday's win over the Angels with a home run, a double, three RBI and three runs scored. He also stole a base.

      Advice: Henderson was hit by a pitch in the opening at-bat to start the game and wasted no time in getting his revenge, taking Tyler Anderson deep for a leadoff home run in his next trip to the plate to put the Orioles up 1-0. The star shortstop would then add a double and a two-run single in his next two-at bats while also being hit by a pitch for the second time in the contest. Henderson has now homered in back-to-back games and also extended his hitting streak to five games with Wednesday's performance.     • Lasts just four innings in loss
      Miller (3-2) took the loss against Texas on Wednesday, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out five batters over four-plus innings.

      Advice: Miller made it through three scoreless frames before the Rangers got to him for a pair of solo homers in the fourth. The right-hander did come back out to the mound for the fifth frame, but he was pulled after issuing a leadoff walk, having thrown 83 pitches to that point. Miller's three-game quality start streak was thus snapped, as was his three-game win streak.     • Bryce Miller inefficient in loss to Rangers
      Bryce Miller allowed two runs with five strikeouts over four innings in a loss against the Rangers on Wednesday.

      Advice: Miller worked around two walks in the first inning, striking out the side. He tossed two more scoreless innings before Adolis García and Evan Carter went back-to-back for a pair of solo homers in the fourth. Two more runners would reach in the inning on a walk and a base hit before Miller could escape the frame. He’d be done after four on 83 pitches, walking a season-high four batters while striking out five. The 25-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 2.22 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and a 29/11 K/BB ratio across 28 1/3 innings. Miller is in line for a tough matchup against the Braves in Seattle on Monday.       Devers went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over Cleveland.

      Advice: Devers was in the lineup for the first time in a week while dealing with a bone bruise in his left knee.       Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-3 with a homer, a double and three RBI in leading the Orioles to a 6-5 win over the Angels on Wednesday.

      Advice: It didn’t seem like anyone really expected Henderson to improve on his terrific rookie campaign this year, but he has in nearly every regard thus far.       Correa (oblique) said Wednesday he could return during the Twins' upcoming road trip, which begins Friday against the Angels and runs through next Wednesday against the White Sox, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Correa did some glove work and took swings Wednesday as he ramps up his baseball activities, and there's a chance he returns from the injured list without a minor-league rehab assignment.
