    • Big day in rout
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 7-0 win over the A's.

Advice: The 22-year-old shortstop capped the scoring on the afternoon by taking JP Sears deep in the seventh inning. The long ball was Henderson's third in the last four games, continuing a blistering stretch that has seen him rack up eight multi-hit performances in his last 12 contests while batting .408 (20-for-49). The surge has boosted Henderson's slash line on the season to .302/.361/.642 with nine homers, six steals, 22 RBI and 23 runs in 106 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:41 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson homers, steals base in win
Gunnar Henderson went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, two runs scored, and a stolen base to lead the Orioles to a 7-0 win over the A’s on Saturday.

Advice: Henderson recorded the first hit of the game for the Orioles, leading off the fourth inning with a single. He stole second and scored on a double by Anthony Santander. The 22-year-old shortstop later took JP Sears deep in the seventh inning for a two-run homer. Henderson is off to an incredible start, hitting .302/.361/.642 with nine homers, 23 runs scored, 22 RBI, and six steals across 119 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:28 pm

    • Junior Caminero (quad) considered day-to-day
Morgan Ensberg, the manager at Triple-A Durham, told reporters on Friday that top prospect Junior Caminero is considered day-to-day after tweaking his quad on Thursday.

Advice: Caminero was lifted from Thursday’s game in the third inning after sustaining the injury. Ensberg explained that he wasn’t going to put Caminero in any jeopardy, so he pulled him as a precaution. The 20-year-old phenom ran and did defensive work without issue on Friday but was getting another night off just to be on the safe side. He could be used off the bench in Friday’s game and should return to the starting lineup on Saturday. Rotoworld Friday, 4:50 pm
    • Heating up at plate
Devers went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Thursday's 6-4 loss to Cleveland.

Advice: Devers produced a second consecutive three-hit effort after missing five games with a knee injury. He's gone 6-for-9 with a double, home run, two RBI and two runs scored in his two games back. The downtime appears to have given the balky shoulder he was dealing with during Boston's homestand last week time to heal, but Devers has yet to resume playing third base. According to Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe, manager Alex Cora said prior to Thursday's game that Devers is likely to remain the Red Sox's designated hitter through Friday before potentially returning to action at third base Saturday versus the Cubs. • Junior Caminero exits AAA game early on Thursday
Rays 3B/SS prospect Junior Caminero made an early exit from Thursday’s game at Triple-A Durham.

Advice: Caminero returned to minor league game action last week from a left quad strain, so his departure is a bit concerning since it came immediately following a fourth-inning double. There should be an update on the 20-year-old top prospect’s status at some point in the coming days. Rotoworld Thursday, 6:12 pm
    • Likely back at third base Saturday
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Thursday that Devers (knee) isn't comfortable enough yet to play third base but will likely return to the position Saturday versus the Cubs, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Advice: The good news is Devers is well enough to hit, as he'll be the club's designated hitter again Thursday after homering from the spot in his return to the lineup Wednesday. The Cubs are starting left-hander Shota Imanaga on Friday, so it's possible the lefty-hitting Devers will rest that day before returning to third base Saturday. With Devers (twice) and Tyler O'Neill (once) occupying the DH spot the last three days, Masataka Yoshida has been on the bench. However, it sounds like Yoshida should be back in there soon enough. • Homer, three hits in win
Henderson went 3-for-3 in Wednesday's win over the Angels with a home run, a double, three RBI and three runs scored. He also stole a base.

Advice: Henderson was hit by a pitch in the opening at-bat to start the game and wasted no time in getting his revenge, taking Tyler Anderson deep for a leadoff home run in his next trip to the plate to put the Orioles up 1-0. The star shortstop would then add a double and a two-run single in his next two-at bats while also being hit by a pitch for the second time in the contest. Henderson has now homered in back-to-back games and also extended his hitting streak to five games with Wednesday's performance. Even more impressive is the fact that he's tallied multiple hits in seven of his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:29 am

    • Returns with bang
Devers went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over Cleveland.

Advice: Devers was in the lineup for the first time in a week while dealing with a bone bruise in his left knee. He returned as the designated hitter and recorded his first multi-hit game since Opening Day. The next hurdle for Devers will be playing a game in the field. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 6:24 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson homers, doubles versus Angels
Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-3 with a homer, a double and three RBI in leading the Orioles to a 6-5 win over the Angels on Wednesday.

Advice: It didn’t seem like anyone really expected Henderson to improve on his terrific rookie campaign this year, but he has in nearly every regard thus far. Boasting some of the game’s best exit velocity numbers, he looks like a legitimate superstar. He’s batting .309/.373/.649 with eight homers through 24 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:18 pm
