    Advice: Rojas sparked a Dodgers comeback with his fifth-inning homer off Cole Ragans. The long ball was Rojas' first since April 3. The infielder has three multi-hit efforts over his last eight games, but he's also gone hitless three times in that span. For the season, he's at a .280/.330/.449 slash line with three homers, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored and three stolen bases over 115 plate appearances. Rojas appears to be out of the mix for time at third base following the Dodgers' trade for Cavan Biggio.     Jose Altuve went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a run scored on Friday evening, helping to lead the Astros past the Tigers.

    Advice: Altuve got a rally started with a leadoff double off of Tarik Skubal to begin the sixth inning. He then scored the game’s first run on Alex Bregman’s ensuing RBI triple. Altuve also drew a walk in the ballgame, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances. Hamilton has been on fire in June, notching his fourth straight multi-hit effort and hitting .333 with two home runs and four stolen bases in 10 games. Injuries have paved the way for Hamilton to receive regular playing time, but he has earned it by hitting .296 with four homers, 10 RBI and 13 steals over 135 plate appearances.     David Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in leading the Red Sox to an 8-6 win over the Phillies on Wednesday.

    Advice: It’s Hamilton’s fourth straight two-hit game, and he’s now hitting .296/.348/.472 for the season. His Statcast numbers aren’t nearly as strong as his actual line, but the improved power from what he showed in the minors is impressive. Both of his hits tonight left the bat at 104-105 mph.     The Dodgers optioned Vargas to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

    Advice: With Cavan Biggio arriving in Los Angeles after being acquired from the Blue Jays earlier Wednesday, Vargas will head back to Triple-A to open up a spot on the 26-man active roster. During his stay with the Dodgers following his promotion from Triple-A on May 17, Vargas started in just six games and hit .250 with one home run and one stolen base over 23 plate appearances.
