    • Locks down 12th save
Doval earned the save Wednesday against the Astros, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Doval's held opponents scoreless in six of his last seven outings while improving to 12-for-14 in save opportunities this year. He lowered his ERA to 3.62 with a 1.54 WHIP and 35:19 K:BB across 27.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:27 pm
    • Toughs out five scoreless frames
Bassitt gave up five hits and four walks over five scoreless innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the Brewers. He struck out five.

Advice: It didn't come easy for Bassitt, as he had to contend with the bases loaded in both the first and fourth innings, though he'd manage to escape unscathed. After a shaky start to the year, the 35-year-old Bassitt's been solid since the start of May, pitching to a 2.25 ERA over his last eight outings. Overall, he's 6-6 with a 3.56 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 75:32 K:BB across 78.1 innings this season. Bassitt is currently in line to face the Red Sox at home in his next outing. • Gleyber Torres homers in blowout win over Royals
Gleyber Torres went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer, two runs scored, and a walk in the Yankees’ 11-5 win over the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: Torres came into this game with hits in 12 of his last 13 games. After drawing a walk and scoring in the first inning, he blasted a three-run homer off Daniel Lynch in the seventh to give the Yankees a commanding lead. The 27-year-old second baseman is slashing .231/.308/.345 with six homers, 33 runs scored, 25 RBI, and four steals across 287 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:05 pm
    • Jazz Chisholm Jr. has two hits in loss to Mets
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 and drove in a run on Wednesday night as the Marlins fell to the Mets at Citi Field.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old smacked a run-scoring single off of David Peterson in the fifth inning that pulled the Marlins to within a run at 5-4. That would wind up being the extent of their scoring in the contest. With his two-hit effort, Chisholm is now hitting .250/.318/.425 to go along with nine homers, 32 RBI and 12 stolen bases. • Josh Jung (wrist) heads out on rehab assignment
Josh Jung (wrist) will begin a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday.

Advice: Jung spent the morning with the Rangers, where he took live batting practice off of rehabbing right-hander Tyler Mahle, before packing up and heading off to his rehab assignment. Expect the 26-year-old slugger to remain there through the weekend before potentially rejoining the Rangers next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:06 pm

    • Trea Turner (hamstring) trending towards next week
Trea Turner (hamstring) is trending toward a return to the Phillies’ lineup early next week.

Advice: The 30-year-old superstar shortstop ran the bases in Boston on Wednesday and will continue to do more running drills over the next few days. Phillies’ skipper Rob Thomson noted that it’s possible Turner could return before the weekend is through, but they aren’t going to rush him. It sounds like Edmundo Sosa’s viability from a fantasy perspective is coming to an abrupt end very soon. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:39 pm

    • Camilo Doval quiets Astros to collect 12th save
Camilo Doval tossed a perfect ninth inning on Wednesday against the Astros to collect his 12th save of the season.

Advice: Doval was tasked with protecting a two-run lead and needed only nine pitches (eight strikes) to slam the door. The hard-throwing 26-year-old stopper has reeled off four consecutive scoreless appearances since June 7 and converted 12 of his 14 save opportunities this season. He’s struggled a bit from a run-prevention standpoint, but remains one of the better closing options in the fantasy landscape. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:21 pm
    • Chris Bassitt settles for no-decision vs. Brewers
Chris Bassitt hurled five shutout innings on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Brewers.

Advice: Bassitt departed in line for the win after striking out five and scattering five hits and four walks over five frames, but Toronto’s bullpen was unable to hold on. The 35-year-old veteran righty has been on a roll over the last few weeks, allowing three earned runs or fewer in eight consecutive starts since May 1. He’ll bring a solid 3.56 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 75/32 K/BB ratio across 78 1/3 innings (14 starts) into a favorable matchup on Tuesday against the Red Sox in Toronto. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:56 pm
    • Throwing out to 105 feet
Rodriguez (shoulder) has extended his throwing program out to 105 feet, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.

Advice: Rodriguez will also continue to receive imaging on his left shoulder to check his progress. The left-hander is one month into the resumption of a throwing program after he had a setback in mid-April. There remains no timetable for Rodriguez's season debut. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:54 am
