    • Logs steal in loss
Pena went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 9-7 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Pena is hitting .324 (23-for-71) over 19 games in May. It hasn't been a totally empty average -- he's picked up five extra-base hits, three steals, nine RBI and 14 runs scored. The shortstop is slashing .326/.365/.457 with seven steals, five homers, 20 RBI and 30 runs through 48 contests overall. He's in an everyday role and on pace for a 20-steal season, so there's a fair amount to like in Pena's game in his third major-league season. Rotowire.com 52 minutes ago

    • Bo Bichette goes 4-for-4, doubles three times
Bo Bichette finished 4-for-4 with three doubles against the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: The first double should have been an out, but the last two were legit. Those two and the single were all hit at least 105 mph, making this easily Bichette’s best exit-velocity day of the season. It was definitely an encouraging showing, even if it was aided by some meatballs from the White Sox staff. Rotoworld Today, 3:39 pm

    • Jeremy Peña hits three-run blast in win over MIL
Jeremy Peña hit a three-run homer to help the Astros to a 5-4 win over the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: Peña came up huge for the Astros with a three-run homer off Freddy Peralta that gave the Astros their 5-4 lead in the fifth inning. The shortstop has enjoyed a strong first six-plus weeks of the season, as he’s gone deep five times while slashing .326/.364/.469. This is the version of Peña fantasy managers were hoping to see in 2023. So far, so good in 2024. Rotoworld Friday, 7:55 pm

    • Keeps raking with homer
Volpe went 2-for-5 with a solo home run during Thursday's 5-0 win over the Twins.

Advice: Volpe extended his hit streak to nine games with a first-inning solo home run off Joe Ryan. During that stretch, Volpe has gone yard three times with 10 total RBI while logging multiple hits in four contests. After an up-and-down rookie campaign, Volpe owns a .273/.348/.432 slash line with six homers and nine stolen bases through 199 plate appearances in 2024. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:01 pm

    • Goes through another workout
Turner (hamstring) went through a workout at Citizens Bank Park for the second straight day Thursday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Turner went through agility drills and took grounders on the field and also hit in the indoor batting cage. While the Phillies are not ready to say the shortstop is progressing from his left hamstring strain ahead of schedule, it sure seems like he might be. Turner is less than two weeks into a projected six-week recovery timetable. Rotowire.com Thursday, 1:55 pm

    • Trea Turner (hamstring) progressing rapidly
Trea Turner (hamstring) went through agility drills on Thursday at Citizens Bank Park.

Advice: Turner has goen through a full workout, which also includes hitting and fielding grounders, on back-to-back days, which is notable since he’s just under two weeks removed from suffering a left hamstring strain. The 30-year-old shortstop was originally expected to miss six weeks, but it sounds like he’s going to beat that original estimate by a considerable margin, which is good news for the Phillies and fantasy managers. • Anthony Volpe homers, steals base in victory
Anthony Volpe went 2-for-5 with a leadoff homer and also stole a base on Thursday, leading the Yankees to a 5-0 victory over the Twins.

Advice: Volpe kicked off the contest with a leadoff homer against Twins starter Joe Ryan for his sixth round-tripper of the year. He also picked up his ninth stolen base of the season a couple frames later. The 23-year-old’s power output was a bit diminished at the outset of the year following offseason changes to flatten his swing and implement an all-fields approach, but he’s started to drive the ball a bit more of late with three homers in his last nine contests. • On base three times in loss
Bichette went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and two RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Orioles.

Advice: His two-run double in the third inning looked like it would be just enough offense to get the Jays the win, until Jordan Romano blew the save in the ninth. Bichette is finally catching fire at the plate, hitting safely in six straight games and batting .435 (10-for-23) over that stretch with a double, a homer, a steal, three runs and four RBI. • Jeremy Peña collects two hits in win over Athletics
Jeremy Peña went 2-for-4 with a run scored in a 3-0 win over the Athletics on Wednesday.

Advice: Peña led off the fourth inning with a base hit and scored on a sacrifice fly by Mauricio Dubón. He later started the sixth inning with a single, but was stranded on the bases. The multi-hit day brings Peña slash line to an impressive .333/.375/.455 with four homers, 26 runs scored, 16 RBI, and six steals across 176 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:23 pm
