    • Ian Happ tallies two hits, homers in victory
Ian Happ went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Cubs’ victory over the Giants.

Advice: Happ went back-to-back with teammate Dansby Swanson off Giants reliever Spencer Bivens in the fourth inning. The 29-year-old left fielder has gone deep three times in his last five contests since June 15 and is up to nine round-trippers on the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:36 pm

    • Continues hot streak Tuesday
Happ went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Giants.

Advice: Happ now has four straight two-hit efforts, which has pushed his season batting average from .212 up to .234. During the hot stretch, the outfielder has also gone deep twice and driven in seven runs. Happ has been a steady fantasy performer the last few years, and it looks like he'll deliver a similar level of performance in 2024. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:36 am

    • Reaches three times in win
Bellinger went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Giants.

Advice: It was a solid all-around effort for Bellinger, who snapped a mini 0-for-8 slump over the previous two games. Overall, the 28-year-old is slashing a respectable .264/.323/.435, though those numbers are down across the board from his stellar 2023 campaign. Bellinger still has plenty of time to heat up, however, and should remain locked into fantasy lineups. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:32 am

    • Drives in three runs Monday
Happ went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Monday's loss to San Francisco.

Advice: Happ's seventh-inning, three-run homer snapped a 3-3 tie and appeared to give the Cubs a comfortable advantage, but the Giants scored three runs in the ninth to pull out the win. Nonetheless, Happ continued to break out of his recent slump -- over his past three contests, he's gone 6-for-9 with two homers, six RBI and three walks. Prior to the three-game stretch, Happ endured a rough span of eight contests during which he went 2-for-28 with 10 strikeouts. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:42 pm

    • Happ blasts three-run home run Monday
Ian Happ went 2-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Giants on Monday.

Advice: Happ’s home run was his eighth of the season. The three-run blast gave the Cubs a 6-3 lead in the seventh inning. It was Happ’s second home run in his last three games and third consecutive game with at least two hits. Happ’s wRC+ on the season is up to 115, which is the same as his career wRC+. • Dodgers expect Betts (hand) to miss 6-8 weeks
The Dodgers’ current guess is that Mookie Betts will miss 6-8 weeks with a fractured left hand.

Advice: Sounds about right. The Dodgers will mostly go with Miguel Rojas at shortstop for now; manager Dave Roberts said he’d start three of the four games in Colorado this week. Enrique Hernández figures to get the nod in the other. Rotoworld Monday, 5:23 pm

    • Likely to miss 6-to-8 weeks
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Monday that the expectation is Betts (wrist) will be sidelined 6-to-8 weeks, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The timeline is a rough estimate, as Roberts noted that much will depend on how Betts' fractured left wrist heals in the coming weeks. If Roberts' suggested timetable holds true, that means Betts will be out at least until late July. Miguel Rojas is expected to be the Dodgers' regular shortstop while Betts is on the shelf. • Move to IL official
The Dodgers placed Betts (wrist) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Advice: Betts remains without a clear timeline to return to the Dodgers lineup after fracturing a bone in his left hand/wrist in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Royals, but fantasy managers should prepare for the seven-time All-Star to be out for multiple weeks. The Dodgers recalled outfielder Miguel Vargas from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move. Vargas could serve as a short-side platoon player while he's up with the Dodgers, as manager Dave Roberts suggested after Sunday's game that Miguel Rojas will get the first chance to replace Betts' spot in the everyday lineup at shortstop. • Mookie Betts officially placed on IL
Dodgers placed INF Mookie Betts on the injured list with a left-hand fracture.

Advice: We found out the extent of Betts’ injury yesterday, and now the Dodgers make the roster move official to put Betts on the IL. He won’t require surgery, but there is no clear timeline other than the team announcing that Betts will return this year. In fantasy leagues, you simply have to hold onto Betts and hope that he’ll return for enough at-bats to make a difference for your team later this year. Miguel Vargas was called up to take his place on the active roster. Rotoworld Monday, 12:57 pm
