    • Sitting versus southpaw
Hamilton is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Yankees, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Advice: Hamilton will get a breather as Boston squares off against southpaw Carlos Rodon. The 26-year-old Hamilton saw his five-game hit streak come to an end Friday, but he's still batting .308 with two home runs, five RBI, six runs scored and five stolen bases over his last nine games. Ceddanne Rafaela will draw the start at shortstop and bat ninth against New York. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:32 pm
    • Moves up in batting order
Hamilton batted second and went 1-for-5 with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 9-3 win over Philadelphia.

Advice: Hamilton's good stretch of hitting led to him batting second for the second consecutive game against a right-hander, and the shortstop extended his hit streak to five games. Since mid-May, when manager Alex Cora started giving him regular run in the starting lineup, Hamilton has slashed .341/.378/.553 with 11 extra-base hits, nine RBI, 14 runs and 10 steals over 26 contests. • Goes deep Wednesday
Lindor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs in a 10-4 victory versus Miami on Wednesday.

Advice: Lindor opened the bottom of the first inning with a double and subsequently scored on Harrison Bader's home run. The shortstop hit a long ball of his own in the eighth frame, going 414 feet to center field. Lindor has disappointed a bit this season after notching his first 30-30 campaign last year, though with 11 homers and nine steals he's one theft away from reaching double digits in both categories -- something only seven MLB players have done so far this season. • Homer, two hits in win
Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Hamilton singled and came around to score in the fifth inning then hit a two-run homer off Spencer Turnbull in the sixth. Hamilton has been on fire in June, notching his fourth straight multi-hit effort and hitting .333 with two home runs and four stolen bases in 10 games. Injuries have paved the way for Hamilton to receive regular playing time, but he has earned it by hitting .296 with four homers, 10 RBI and 13 steals over 135 plate appearances. • David Hamilton homers, singles in Boston’s win
David Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in leading the Red Sox to an 8-6 win over the Phillies on Wednesday.

Advice: It’s Hamilton’s fourth straight two-hit game, and he’s now hitting .296/.348/.472 for the season. His Statcast numbers aren’t nearly as strong as his actual line, but the improved power from what he showed in the minors is impressive. Both of his hits tonight left the bat at 104-105 mph. • Ezequiel Tovar homers, drives in three vs. Twins
Ezequiel Tovar launched a three-run homer on Tuesday in the Rockies’ win over the Twins.

Advice: Tovar’s three-run homer in the top of the sixth broke a scoreless tie in what had been a pitcher’s duel through the first five innings. The 408-foot blast marked Tovar’s 11th homer of the season and pushed his RBI total to 31 on the year. He’s now hit safely in four straight games and is slashing .286/.302/.500 this month with three home runs. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:31 pm

    • David Hamilton has two hits in loss
David Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a double in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Hamilton is now hitting .289 on the season and came into today hitting .338 in 23 games since taking over the starting shortstop job for the Red Sox. Given that he also has 13 steals in 42 games, he deserves to be rostered in far more formats. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:04 pm
    • Homers, swipes another bag
Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and an additional run during Sunday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

Advice: Hamilton clubbed his third home run of the season Sunday, taking Chris Flexen yard in the fifth inning. He also scored the game-tying run in the ninth, reaching on a double off Tanner Banks and stealing third base before scoring on a sac fly by Reese McGuire. Hamilton finished the four-game series against the White Sox having gone 6-for-17 (.353) with four stolen bases, two doubles, a homer and three runs scored. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:32 pm
    • David Hamilton homers, doubles in Boston’s win
David Hamilton homered in the fifth and doubled and scored the tying run in the ninth as the Red Sox came back to beat the Red Sox 6-4 on Sunday.

Advice: Hamilton doubled off Tanner Banks, stole third and then scored on a sac fly to even the game at 4-4. The Red Sox then pulled ahead on a Jamie Westbrook sac fly in the 10th. Hamilton’s defense at shortstop is lacking and the 25% strikeout rate isn’t great, but he’s been quite good in hitting .282/.339/.436 with 13 steals in 127 plate appearances for the Red Sox. The speed makes him playable in mixed leagues for as long as he continues to start most of the time. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:48 pm
