    • Sitting versus southpaw
Hamilton is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Yankees, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Advice: Hamilton will get a breather as Boston squares off against southpaw Carlos Rodon. The 26-year-old Hamilton saw his five-game hit streak come to an end Friday, but he's still batting .308 with two home runs, five RBI, six runs scored and five stolen bases over his last nine games. Ceddanne Rafaela will draw the start at shortstop and bat ninth against New York. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:32 pm
    • Moves up in batting order
Hamilton batted second and went 1-for-5 with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 9-3 win over Philadelphia.

Advice: Hamilton's good stretch of hitting led to him batting second for the second consecutive game against a right-hander, and the shortstop extended his hit streak to five games. Since mid-May, when manager Alex Cora started giving him regular run in the starting lineup, Hamilton has slashed .341/.378/.553 with 11 extra-base hits, nine RBI, 14 runs and 10 steals over 26 contests. • Collects season-high four hits
Albies went 4-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored Thursday against the Orioles.

Advice: Albies' first-inning double set the stage for Atlanta to take an early lead, and his double in the ninth eventually led to a couple of insurance runs as a tight one-run lead turned into a three-run victory. Albies collected multiple hits for the 17th time this season, though it's just the second time he's had three or more in a game. His four-hit effort came on the heels of a seven-game stretch in which he had collected just four hits total, batting .143 over 28 at-bats during that span. Rotowire.com Thursday, 2:06 pm

    • Ozzie Albies collects four hits against Orioles
Ozzie Albies had four hits, including a pair of doubles, and two runs scored Thursday against the Orioles.

Advice: That as many hits as he had in his previous seven games combined. Albies hasn’t been a disaster for the Braves this season, but he has been quite a fantasy disappointment, mostly because he’s been limited to four homers in 58 games. He finished with 33 in 148 games last year. It’s the result of injuries and the short 2020, but it’s kind of funny that through Albies’ first seven seasons (not including the partial 2024), he’s had at least 24 homers four times and no more than eight the other three years. • Homer, two hits in win
Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Hamilton singled and came around to score in the fifth inning then hit a two-run homer off Spencer Turnbull in the sixth. Hamilton has been on fire in June, notching his fourth straight multi-hit effort and hitting .333 with two home runs and four stolen bases in 10 games. Injuries have paved the way for Hamilton to receive regular playing time, but he has earned it by hitting .296 with four homers, 10 RBI and 13 steals over 135 plate appearances. • David Hamilton homers, singles in Boston’s win
David Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in leading the Red Sox to an 8-6 win over the Phillies on Wednesday.

Advice: It’s Hamilton’s fourth straight two-hit game, and he’s now hitting .296/.348/.472 for the season. His Statcast numbers aren’t nearly as strong as his actual line, but the improved power from what he showed in the minors is impressive. Both of his hits tonight left the bat at 104-105 mph. • David Hamilton has two hits in loss
David Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a double in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Hamilton is now hitting .289 on the season and came into today hitting .338 in 23 games since taking over the starting shortstop job for the Red Sox. Given that he also has 13 steals in 42 games, he deserves to be rostered in far more formats. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:04 pm
    • Jake Cronenworth hits 10th homer in Padres’ win
Jake Cronenworth homered, doubled and scored twice as the Padres topped the A’s 6-1 on Monday.

Advice: Cronenworth has two homers in three games after going his previous 19 games without one. His exit velocity numbers have trended downwards after a surprisingly hot start in April, but he’s still performing better than his decline the previous two seasons indicated he would; he’s back up to .267/.331/.463 after tonight. He has as many homers (10) in 288 plate appearances this year that he did in 522 last season. Rotoworld Monday, 11:31 pm

    • Swats homer in victory
Cronenworth went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs against Oakland in Monday's 6-1 win.

Advice: Cronenworth put San Diego's first run on the board with a solo homer in the third inning, and he scored again after getting hit by a pitch in the seventh. The second baseman also doubled in the contest, resulting in his first game with multiple extra-base hits since May 3. Cronenworth has put together a modest five-game hitting streak during which he's gone 8-for-19 with two homers, two doubles, six RBI and four runs. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:51 pm
