    • Clubs homer Friday
Castro went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run, a double and two total runs scored in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Castro logged his fourth multi-hit effort in his last five games, with the lone exception being Thursday when he started on the bench. Batting .290 (20-for-69) in June, Castro has been impressive for the Twins, and it hasn't been just an empty average. He has nine extra-base hits, eight RBI and 13 runs scored over 19 contests this month. For the season, he's posted a .272/.357/.444 slash line with six homers, 24 RBI, 43 runs scored, eight stolen bases and a career-high 19 doubles through 76 games. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago

    • Taylor Ward drives in game-winner against Dodgers
Taylor Ward stole a base and drove home the game-winning run in the 10th against the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Ward untied the game with an RBI single in the top of the 10th off Evan Phillips to give the Angels the lead and the (surprising) victory. The stolen base was just the third of the year for the 30-year-old outfielder. After a red-hot start, Ward has come back to earth — something that’s happened a bunch on his career — with a .240/.325/.419 slash over 77 games. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago

    • Bryan De La Cruz goes 3-for-4, hits 14th home run
Bryan De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with a homer and a double as the Marlins edged the Mariners 3-2 on Friday.

Advice: Oddly enough, the Marlins had no one with one hit tonight; De La Cruz had three, Josh Bell and Tim Anderson had two and no one else reached via hit or walk. De La Cruz’s homer was his third in four games and 14th on the season. If he played on a better team, he’d be an easy top 30 or 40 fantasy outfielders right now. As is, he still seems like a pretty fringy mixed-league option. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago

    • Hobbled Jurickson Profar pulled for pinch-runner
Jurickson Profar was lifted for a pinch-runner in the seventh inning Friday against the Brewers.

Advice: This probably wasn’t a move the Padres would have made unless Profar’s knee was acting up again. José Azocar ran for him in the game against the Brewers. Rotoworld Today, 9:36 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. day-to-day with triceps contusion
Fernando Tatis Jr. is day-to-day with a left triceps contusion, the Padres announced.

Advice: Tatis left Friday’s game after he was in the elbow by a pitch. If he can’t play Saturday, then José Azocar will probably play right field. Rotoworld Today, 9:32 pm

    • May have aggravated knee issue
Profar (knee) was removed for a pinch runner in the seventh inning of Friday's game against the Brewers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Profar dealt with a knee injury earlier in June, and he didn't appear to be running at full strength to begin Friday's game. He was pulled six frames later, though the Padres could have been giving some additional maintenance time as a precaution. Rotowire.com Today, 9:19 pm

    • Dealing with contusion
Tatis left Friday's game with a left triceps contusion, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Tatis exited the game two innings after being hit by a pitch in his arm. He appears to have avoided serious injury, though it's unclear whether imaging has already occurred -- if required. Rotowire.com Today, 9:15 pm

    • Doubles twice, scores three runs
Young went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three runs scored in Friday's victory against Colorado.

Advice: Young doubled and scored in both the third and sixth innings while also crossing home in the fourth. He's been very all-or-nothing this month; Young has four multi-hit performances in 17 games this month but has totaled just three hits in the other 13 games combined. This inconsistent run has lowered his season slash line to .263/.319/.328 with 11 extra-base hits and 17 steals through 64 games. Rotowire.com Today, 9:01 pm

    • Drives in four runs
Thomas went 3-for-6 with a double, four RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win over Colorado.

Advice: Thomas finished a home run shy of the cycle as he stuff the stat sheet Friday. He knocked an RBI single in the third inning and a two-run double in the fourth before capping his day off with an RBI triple in the sixth. Thomas struggled early in the year but in 24 games since returning from a knee injury, he's gone 27-for-94 (.287) with 13 extra-base this and 18 RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 8:52 pm
