    • Expected to return Wednesday
Woo (forearm) is expected to start Wednesday on the road against the Guardians, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: Woo was forced to miss his last scheduled start Tuesday versus the White Sox due to right forearm discomfort, but after a clean MRI, he appears set to return to the mound in Cleveland. The 24-year-old has produced a sparkling 1.07 ERA and 0.53 WHIP while striking out 24 batters over 33.2 innings in six starts this season. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago

    • Bryan Woo (forearm) will start on Wednesday
Bryan Woo (forearm) will return to the Mariners’ rotation on Wednesday against the Guardians.

Advice: The 24-year-old hurler got good news this week when an MRI on his injured forearm came back clean. He’s now ready to return to action and shouldn’t have any restrictions going forward. Woo has posted a stellar 1.07 ERA, 0.54 WHIP and a 24/2 K/BB ratio across 33 2/3 innings through his first six starts with the M’s this season. Rotoworld 5 minutes ago

    • Continues stellar stretch
Mikolas (5-6) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on four hits against the Cubs. He struck out five.

Advice: Mikolas held the Cubs scoreless through six, then was pulled following a one-out double by Ian Happ in the seventh. Happ later came around to score, but the Cardinals held the Cubs scoreless the rest of the way to secure the fifth win of the season for Mikolas. It was the second straight start Mikolas entered the seventh having allowed zero runs and the fifth straight quality start for Mikolas who holds a 2.58 ERA and 0.73 WHIP over 31.1 innings during that stretch. The 35-year-old veteran will look to continue to turn back the clock in his next start, currently slated to take place next weekend when the Giants make their way to St. Louis. • Roughed up in loss
Lively (6-3) took the loss Sunday against Toronto, yielding four earned runs on six hits and three walks in four innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Lively pitched for the first time in eight days after leaving his most recent start with tightness after 65 pitches. He surrendered a two-run home run to Ernie Clement in the second inning, his first home run allowed since May 26. The four earned runs are a season-worst for the 32-year-old, who had notched wins in each of his previous five starts. Despite Sunday's rough outing, Lively has pitched well for Cleveland this season, logging a 3.02 ERA, a 1.19 WHIP and a 52:18 K:BB across 59.2 innings pitched. He is currently scheduled for a rematch against Toronto next weekend. Rotowire.com 20 minutes ago

    • Logan Gilbert dominates Rangers in 5-0 game
Logan Gilbert allowed two hits and walked none over eight innings in the Mariners’ 5-0 shutout of the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Gilbert recorded 21 whiffs and nine strikeouts in one of the best outings of his still rather young career. He’s 12-for-15 giving the Mariners quality starts this year, which would seem to warrant better than 4-4 record. His 2.93 ERA ranks 15th in the majors, but his 0.92 WHIP places fifth. • Dane Dunning fans eight, gets lifted in fifth
Dane Dunning allowed two runs over 4 2/3 innings and struck out eight before being lifted from his start against the Mariners on Sunday.

Advice: Dunning’s K rate this year has been quite encouraging — he’s fanned 67 in 59 innings — but the extra homers and extra walks he’s given up have made him a far less effective pitcher than he was last year. If he remains in the rotation and has more luck with homers, he still might be a factor in mixed leagues after the break. However, if all goes as the Rangers hope and they get to add Max Scherzer, Tyler Mahle and Jacob deGrom to the rotation, Dunning could finish the year in the pen. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

    • Dealing with rotator cuff injury
Yamamoto (triceps) was diagnosed with a right rotator cuff strain Sunday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Yamamoto was lifted from his start Saturday versus the Royals in the third inning with right tricep tightness before being placed on the 15-day injured list Sunday. It is now understood to be a rotator cuff injury, which is certainly a more significant diagnosis. Manager Dave Roberts said that the injury is not "season ending" but it's "going to be some time" before the right-hander will be able to return. In regards to his replacement in the Dodgers' starting rotation, Bobby Miller (shoulder) is expected to return to the major-league roster Wednesday. It's unclear how much of a factor Yamamoto will be for fantasy managers the rest of the season. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago

    • Mediocre in victory
Berrios (6-5) picked up the win Sunday against Cleveland, allowing four earned runs on eight hits and zero walks while striking out one batter over six innings.

Advice: Berrios was one out away from recording his 12th quality start of the season, but Daniel Schneemann launched a two-run shot with two outs in the sixth, the only extra-base hit yielded by Berrios. Over his past 10 starts, the 30-year-old has allowed a home run in nine of them, recording a 4.32 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP across 60.1 innings in that span. Berrios will look to bounce back in his next start, currently scheduled for next weekend in Cleveland. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

    • Tyler Glasnow shuts down Royals, strikes out nine
Tyler Glasnow cruised against the Royals on Sunday, striking out nine over seven innings in the Dodgers’ 3-0 shutout.

Advice: Glasnow walked only one and needed just 85 pitches to get his 21 outs today. The victory snapped a four-game losing streak in which the Dodgers just couldn’t score runs for him. He’s 7-5 with a 3.00 ERA and a 125/25 K/BB in 93 innings for the year. Rotoworld 56 minutes ago
