    • Lowe fills up stat sheet against Royals Thursday
Josh Lowe went 1-for-2 with a walk, a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base against the Royals on Thursday.

Advice: Lowe’s stolen base was his sixth of the season. He drove in Isaac Paredes with an RBI double in the first inning and scored on Ben Rortvedt’s two-run single in the fifth inning. Jose Siri pinch hit for him later in the game with a left-handed pitcher on the mound. Lowe is hitting just .223 with a .709 OPS and 14 RBI on the season. Rotoworld 33 minutes ago

    • Eflin picks up fifth win against Royals Thursday
Zach Eflin allowed six runs (five earned) in five innings and got the win in the Rays’ 10-8 victory over the Royals on Thursday.

Advice: Eflin gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out three. The win was his fifth of the season. The Royals started scoring with a Michael Massey solo home run in the second inning. Kansas City scored twice in the third inning on a Bobby Witt Jr. sacrifice fly and RBI single by Vinnie Pasquantino. Pasquantino had an RBI groundout in the fifth inning. The sixth inning started with a Richie Palacious error which allowed Michael Massey to reach and Hunter Renfroe chased Eflin with an RBI single. Renfroe ended up scoring later in the inning with the run charged to Eflin. This season has been a nightmare for Eflin drafters as he hasn’t come close to repeating the career year he had last year. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Yankees on the road next week.

    • Beeks picks up seventh save Thursday
Jalen Beeks threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings and picked up the save against the Brewers on Thursday.

Advice: It was Beeks’ seventh save of the year. He had blown his last three save opportunities. Beeks’ save was his first save since May 31st. He has a 4.19 ERA on the season. He has five wins and seven saves on the season, but isn’t the most reliable late inning arm in fantasy. Rotoworld Today, 7:54 pm

    • Bobby Miller no longer starting Sunday vs. Brewers
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed that Bobby Miller will not start on Sunday against the Brewers.

Advice: Roberts elaborated that Miller is healthy, but the Dodgers want to give him some extra time instead of taking the ball on just four days of rest after allowing two runs over five innings on Tuesday against the Diamondbacks. It’ll be a bullpen game for Los Angeles instead. Miller will presumably take the ball for Tuesday’s series opener against the Phillies. Rotoworld Today, 6:04 pm

    • Won't start on regular rest
Miller will not start Sunday against Milwaukee, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Miller would have been on regular rest Sunday, but the Dodgers will opt to give him at least two extra days to recover. He's struggled in three starts since returning from the injured list, posting a combined 7:9 K:BB with a 6.75 ERA and 1.73 WHIP. Rotowire.com Today, 6:01 pm

    • Brent Rooker has two hits, steals base in victory
Brent Rooker went 2-for-3 with an RBI and also stole a base on Thursday in the Athletics’ win over the Angels.

Advice: Rooker extended Oakland’s early lead with a run-scoring single in the third inning off Angels starter Roansy Contreras before picking up his fourth theft of the season later in the frame. The 29-year-old outfielder is in the midst of a strong season with an .880 OPS with 17 homers and four steals through 74 games. Rotoworld Today, 5:22 pm

    • Zach Neto singles, steals base in shutout loss
Zach Neto singled and stole a base on Thursday in the Angels’ shutout loss at the hands of the Athletics.

Advice: Los Angeles mustered only four hits and were shut out for the second straight contest and dropped their fourth consecutive game. Not great. Neto was one of the few bright spots for the Angels in this one as he picked up his 12th stolen base of the year. Rotoworld Today, 5:22 pm

    • Logs steal in loss
Neto went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Thursday's 5-0 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Neto has collected three steals over his last nine games despite going a poor 6-for-32 (.188) in that span. The shortstop is up to 12 steals on 18 attempts this season. He's added a .247/.297/.427 slash line with 11 home runs, 38 RBI and 33 runs scored over 84 contests. While he offers decent power and speed, he'll need to make more consistent contact to be reliable in the majority of fantasy formats. Rotowire.com Today, 4:21 pm

    • Roughed up in loss
Sanchez (6-4) suffered the loss Thursday, allowing seven runs on seven hits and three walks over four innings against the Cubs. He struck out three.

Advice: Sanchez' outing began in a familiar manner, allowing no runs through the first three innings while being staked with an early 2-0 lead. But Sanchez, who has done a great job this year at avoiding the big inning, couldn't escape that trap Thursday, allowing six batters to reach base during a five-run fourth, then saw his day end prematurely after the first two batters reached base in the fifth. All told, Sanchez, who was coming off a complete game shutout and had allowed just one earned run over 23 innings during his previous three starts, allowed a season-high seven runs, lifting his season ERA more than half a run from 2.41 to 2.96. He'll look to rebound next week when the Phillies host a showdown series against the Dodgers. Rotowire.com Today, 3:49 pm
