    • Notches four-out save
Scott allowed two walks over 1.1 scoreless innings and earned a save against the Reds on Sunday. He struck out two batters.

Advice: Scott faced a two-on, two-out situation in the ninth inning but struck out Edwin Rios to close out the 3-2 win. He's riding a 12.1-inning scoreless streak while converting six straight save chances. He's now 14 for 16 in save opportunities with a stellar 1.34 ERA through 39 appearances. • Drives in five Sunday
Rooker went 2-for-2 with a pair of two-run home runs, an RBI sacrifice fly and a walk in an 18-3 win over the Phillies on Sunday.

Advice: Rooker ignited the Athletics' eight-homer barrage on the afternoon with the first of his two massive round trippers, slugging a 450-foot shot to center with JJ Bleday aboard in the fourth inning to erase a 1-0 deficit. He'd one-up himself just two frames later, clearing the center-field wall at a distance of 452 feet to plate Bleday once again. The All-Star snub has been one of baseball's most fearsome hitters since the calendar flipped to July, hitting .488 (20-for-41) with three doubles, six home runs, 15 RBI, seven walks, three stolen bases and 15 runs. • Scott snags 14th save in win over Mets
Tanner Scott escaped a ninth-inning jam to secure a 3-2 win over the Reds on Sunday and pick up his 14th save.

Advice: Scott was called on to face Spencer Steer with two outs in the eighth inning and a runner on first, and he got Steer to foul out. He then walked the first batter of the ninth inning and after a groundout moved the runner to second base, intentionally walked another batter before getting Edwin Rias swinging to end the game. Command continues to be a concern for Scott, but he has a 1.34 ERA on the season and figures to be a much-discussed name at the trade deadline. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:55 pm

    • Rooker homers twice in win for A’s
Brent Rooker went 2-for-2 with a walk, two home runs, and five RBI for the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Rooker is now up to 21 home runs on the season while hitting .291/.369/.573 in what has been a dynamic first half of the season. He does have a strikeout rate that hovers around 33 percent, and that swing-and-miss will always lead to some cold stretches, but he has produced more often than not this season and deserves to be on most fantasy rosters while he’s running this hot. • Hitting bench Sunday
Garcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: After starting in six of the Royals' last seven contests, Garcia will get a breather Sunday in the club's final game before the All-Star break. Utility man Adam Frazier will enter the lineup in Garcia's stead, occupying third base and batting leadoff. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:41 am

    • Swipes eighth bag
Lowe went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Sunday against the Guardians.

Advice: After battling injuries for much of the first half, Lowe has yet to find his rhythm at the plate. He's hit just .188 with a 37.1 percent strikeout rate across 10 games in July, though he has managed four stolen bases in that span. Lowe's performance should improve in the second half if he can stay healthy, but he has only a .670 OPS across 158 plate appearances to this point. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:43 am

    • Homer, three hits in loss
Rooker went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in Saturday's 11-5 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Rooker doubled and scored in the second inning, singled in the fourth and added a solo homer in the seventh. The outfielder continued his red-hot July, recording his sixth multi-hit effort and falling a triple shy of the cycle. With one more game to go before the All-Star break, he is hitting .287 with 19 home runs, 57 RBI, 42 runs scored and five steals over 340 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:13 pm

    • Cracks 16th homer
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Marlins.

Advice: The Reds teed off on Edward Cabrera and the Miami bullpen for six combined homers, and De La Cruz got in on the fun with a long ball to the batter's eye in the third inning. De La Cruz has been managing a hand issue recently, but it hasn't cost him playing time -- his absence Thursday was said to be unrelated -- nor has it affected his performance. De La Cruz is a first-time All-Star and he's been a top-10 fantasy player so far this season on account of his .255/.345/.476 slash line, 16 homers, 41 RBI, 63 runs and 46 steals through 95 games. • Rooker belts 19th home run against Phillies
Brent Rooker went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a solo home run against the Phillies on Saturday.

Advice: Rooker’s home run was his 19th of the season. He hit a solo shot off Tyler Phillips to lead off the seventh inning. Rooker is hitting .287 with a .915 OPS and 57 RBI on the year. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:34 pm
