    • Returning from suspension Sunday
Blanco (suspension) will be added to Houston's active roster Sunday and will start in the club's series finale in Oakland that day, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Astros unsurprisingly won't waste any time reinserting Blanco into the rotation upon the completion of his 10-game ban. The right-hander threw live batting practice Monday and shouldn't face any significant limitations in his first start back. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:42 pm

    • Espada: Ronel Blanco likely back Sunday vs. A’s
Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters Ronel Blanco will likely start on Sunday against the Athletics.

Advice: Blanco is currently serving an automatic 10-game suspension for violating the league’s illegal foreign substance rules, but he’s in line for a tasty matchup in his return against the struggling Athletics. Fantasy managers should prepare to get him back in their lineups later this week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:12 pm

    • Extended bullpen on tap
Reds manager David Bell said Tuesday that Lodolo (groin) will throw an extended bullpen session within the next day or two, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Following the bullpen session, a plan will be mapped out for Lodolo's return. The left-hander had previously expressed optimism that he could be back from the 15-day injured list when first eligible on May 27, so it's possible he'll skip a rehab assignment and go right back into the Reds' rotation if things go well during the bullpen session. • Strikes out eight in win
Yamamoto (5-1) earned the win Monday over the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out eight over 6.1 innings.

Advice: Yamamoto was able to rebound after being not at his best last Monday versus the Giants. The rookie right-hander put together his fifth quality start in his last six outings, though the win was briefly endangered after Elieser Hernandez gave up a pair of solo home runs in the eighth inning. Yamamoto is at a 3.17 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 61:11 K:BB through 54 innings over 10 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road in a tough venue, Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:58 pm
    • Worst start of season versus Angels
Valdez (3-2) allowed eight runs on 10 hits and a walk while striking out three over five innings to take the loss Monday versus the Angels.

Advice: Valdez followed up his start of seven shutout innings versus the Athletics with a dud Monday. He was doing fine until the Angels rallied for seven runs in the fifth, including three-run home runs by Nolan Schanuel and Logan O'Hoppe and a solo shot from Jo Adell. Valdez is now at a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB through 41.2 innings over seven starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road in Seattle. • Framber Valdez gives up three fifth-inning homers
Framber Valdez was pounded for eight runs and three homers in five innings by the Angels in Monday’s loss.

Advice: Valdez allowed just one run on four groundball singles through four innings tonight, but the fifth was a vastly different story. All three homers came in that inning, and it was really pretty amazing that he got to finish the frame while allowing seven runs. Valdez had a 2.88 ERA going into the fifth tonight, only to finish the game at 4.32. It’s the first time in his career that he’s allowed three homers and the second time that he’s allowed eight runs, with the other instance also coming against the Angels in 2020. • Earns fifth win
Keller (5-3) allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cubs.

Advice: It wasn't as dominant an outing as his six scoreless innings versus the Brewers on Monday, but it was still Keller's third straight quality start. He's allowed three runs over 21 innings across three starts in May. The strong pitching has him down to a 3.84 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 54:19 K:BB through 61 innings over 10 starts this season. Keller is projected for a tough home start versus Atlanta in his next outing. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:18 pm

    • Efficient in earning second win
Pivetta (2-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on one hit over six innings against the Cardinals. He struck out eight.

Advice: A fourth-inning solo homer by Lars Nootbaar was the only blemish against Pivetta, who needed just 72 pitches to retire 18 of the 19 batters he faced. It was the second consecutive start for Pivetta with eight punchouts, as he's struck out 16 over 11.2 innings while allowing only three runs during that stretch. However, it should be noted that all three runs were scored by way of the long ball, and Pivetta has now allowed six homers, including five of the solo variety, over his last three appearances. Pivetta will look to carry the momentum into his next start, tentatively slated to take place next weekend when the Red Sox welcome the Brewers into Fenway for a three-game set. • Mitch Keller posts quality start in win over Cubs
Mitch Keller posted a quality start in Sunday’s victory over the Cubs, allowing two runs on just two hits over six frames.

Advice: The right-hander walked three and struck out three batters on the afternoon. All of the damage one against him came on sacrifice flies — one by Seiya Suzuki in the third inning and another off the bat of Christopher Morel in the sixth. Keller got 10 swings and misses on 83 pitches on the afternoon — seven of those on his heater — while registering a CSW of 30 percent. Now 5-3 on the season, he’ll tote a 3.84 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and a 54/19 K/BB ratio (61 innings) into Saturday’s tough matchup against the Braves. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:07 pm
