    • Launches grand slam
Profar went 1-for-3 with a grand slam, a hit-by-pitch and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Profar gave the Padres the extra cushion they ultimately needed when he slugged a grand slam in the sixth inning. The Nationals attempted a comeback but fell short. After a brief absence with a knee injury over the weekend, Profar has resumed his hot hitting --he's 10-for-36 (.278) with nine RBI during his nine-game hitting streak. For the season, the outfielder is at a stellar .317/.410/.488 slash line with 11 homers, 54 RBI, 45 runs scored and four stolen bases over 82 contests. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago

    • Mickey Moniak’s first grand slam propels Angels
Mickey Moniak hit his first career grand slam Tuesday to lead the Angels past the A’s 7-5.

Advice: Moniak’s slam was a homer in only six ballparks, says Statcast, but that was mostly because of its low trajectory; Moniak crushed the pitch, which left his bat at 107.9 mph. He’s earned himself some extra playing time by hitting .254/.333/.475 in 66 plate appearances this month. He came in at just .169/.208/.242 over the first two months. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

    • Three-game hitting streak
Jimenez went 1-for-5 with a double and an RBI on Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jimenez started in his third consecutive game since being activated from the injured list Sunday, and he has one hit in each contest. His performance Tuesday marked his first extra-base hit in that span, and he also has one RBI and one run scored. Jimenez has hit either third or fourth in every game since his return. • Third homer of June
Benintendi went 1-for-3 with two walks and a two-run home run Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Benintendi helped the White Sox get off to a hot start, as he delivered his home run in the first inning. He has been limited to 11 games in June due to an Achilles injury, but Benintendi has enjoyed a productive month by homering three times, driving in five and scoring five runs while also maintaining a .286 batting average. Despite the productive stretch, he still has just a .249 wOBA and 58 wRC+ across 233 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago

    • Jurickson Profar hits grand slam in Padres’ win
Jurickson Profar hit a grand slam Tuesday in the Padres’ 9-7 takedown of the Nationals.

Advice: This game had a little bit of everything, including a benches-clearing incident, a manager ejection, some extended player admiration of home runs, ugly defense, boneheaded baserunning and 16 runs in all. What it didn’t have was strikeouts; the teams totaled just five, and Nationals hitters went the first eight innings without any at all. Profar, coming off a walkoff hit Monday, was involved in the early confrontation that emptied the dugouts and then immediately was hit by a pitch after warnings were issued. Immediately after that, he scored on a Manny Machado homer. His slam, a line-drive homer down the right field line, was the fourth of his career. He’s now 5-for-5 with four extra-base hits and 17 RBI with the bases loaded this season. Rotoworld 42 minutes ago

    • Homers in three-hit game
Buxton went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Buxton got the Twins on the board with his fifth-inning solo shot and was also a part of their rally in the seventh. The outfielder has gone 8-for-20 (.400) with six extra-base hits over his last five games. He slumped early in June but has rebounded to get his slash line to .255/.302/.435 with six homers, 26 RBI, 28 runs scored and five stolen bases over 215 plate appearances this year. • Brett Wisely finishes 2-for-4 in Giants’ victory
Brett Wisely went 2-for-4 with a run scored from the leadoff spot in the Giants’ 5-1 defeat of the Cubs on Tuesday.

Advice: Wisely’s second hit, a 403-foot double to left-center, would have been a homer in 29 of 30 ballparks and really a no-doubter in most of them. Oracle Park isn’t built that way, though. Wisely, who has turned into the Giants’ shortstop versus righties, is batting an impressive .301/.333/.441 in 99 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 9:43 pm

    • Pete Crow-Armstrong strikes out three times
Pete Crow-Armstrong struck out all three times he was up against the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: Crow-Armstrong has struck out 22 times while batting .151/.182/.226 in 53 plate appearances this month. The defense is strong, and he’s been a force on the basepaths, but the Cubs still might need to send him back to Triple-A to work on his approach at the plate. Rotoworld Today, 9:43 pm
    • Trevor Larnach goes 0-for-4 in loss to Arizona
Trevor Larnach went 0-for-4 and grounded into a double play against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Advice: Larnach hit three balls over 100 mph tonight, but he had no luck with any of them. He’s batting just .218/.254/.382 this month on the heels of an already poor May, and one wonders if the Twins might have him and Matt Wallner, who has been red hot in Triple-A, swap spots in the near future.
