    • Still out Saturday
Lee (foot) is not in Saturday's lineup against the Reds.

Advice: Lee will miss a third straight game with a sore foot. Tyler Fitzgerald is starting in center field against lefty Nick Lodolo on Saturday. Lee did on-field work Saturday and was moving better, per Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:13 pm

    • Jung Hoo Lee (foot) not in Saturday’s lineup
Jung Hoo Lee (foot) remains absent from the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Reds.

Advice: There was optimism Lee would be ready to return this weekend, but it sounds like he’s going to get some extra time to rest and recover from some lingering foot soreness. The positive news here is that the 25-year-old rookie outfielder hasn’t landed on the injured list, but he’s out of the lineup for a third straight contest. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. It’ll be Tyler Fitzgerald drawing another start in center field. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:00 pm

    • Lung Hoo Lee (foot) remains out of Giants’ lineup
Jung Hoo Lee (foot) remains out of the Giants’ starting lineup for Friday night’s showdown against the Reds.

Advice: Lee also sat out Thursday’s game due to a sore foot. Giants’ skipper Bob Melvin said Friday that Lee may need an additional day off on Saturday, but that he should be able to return after that and won’t require a trip to the injured list. Let’s hope that’s the case and it doesn’t turn into an Jorge Soler (shoulder) situation. Rotoworld Friday, 4:41 pm

    • Delivers winning run
Carroll went 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Reds.

Advice: Carroll delivered the go-ahead run on a two-out single in the top of the eighth inning, a half inning after the Reds plated three runs to tie the game. The outfielder returned to the top of the order this week after a season-opening slump dropped him to the lower third in late April. He's worked through the slow start, which he attributed to a flat swing, per Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports. Carroll has a pop-up rate of 15.2 percent on the season, more than double than what it was in 2023 (7.3 percent). Rotowire.com Friday, 4:43 am
    • Corbin Carroll knocks in go-ahead run against Reds
Corbin Carroll knocked in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning Thursday to help the D-Backs to a 5-4 win over the Reds.

Advice: In what has been a very disappointing season for Carroll, the 23-year-old came up big Thursday with an RBI single to score Tucker Barnhart that broke a 4-4 tie and ultimately gave Arizona the victory. The 23-year-old was one of the best fantasy players regardless of age, and while his .206/.300/.270 slash is anything but ideal, there’s obvious reasons to believe he’ll bounce back considerably in the summer months. • Sitting out with sore foot
Giants manager Bob Melvin said Lee is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game in Colorado due to a sore foot which is the result of a foul ball off his leg in Wednesday's contest, Manny Randhawa of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Lee is receiving treatment and will be reevaluated Friday to see if he's ready to play then. Consider him day-to-day for the time being. Austin Slater is occupying center field in Lee's stead Thursday. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:04 am

    • Jung Hoo Lee out of Thursday’s lineup
Jung Hoo Lee is not in the starting lineup for Thursday’s game against the Rockies due to a sore foot.

Advice: Lee was hit in the foot after he fouled off a ball on Wednesday, so the 25-year-old will take the day off to get right. The rookie outfielder is slashing .262/.310/.331 with two homers and eight RBI across 145 plate appearances this season. Rotoworld Thursday, 10:59 am

    • Lifts homer in win
Santander went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Advice: Santander is hitting just .227 over seven games in May and batting .215 on the year, but he has a homer in two of his last three contests. The outfielder has added a .737 OPS through 35 games this season, though that's still a decent margin behind last year's .797 mark. Santander is up to six homers, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple and no steals through 147 plate appearances while holding down a starting role in right field. • Clubs go-ahead homer
Hernandez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI during Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Hernandez drove in all three of the Dodgers' runs Wednesday, plating Freddie Freeman on a first-inning single before re-taking the lead in the sixth on a two-run homer that also scored Freeman. Hernandez has gone yard four times in May, batting 8-for-25 (.320) with six runs scored during the month. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:28 pm
