      Advice: Bibee made a talented Atlanta offense look inept, racking up 16 swinging strikes and allowing just two hits over seven frames. However, he was matched in putting zeroes up on the scoreboard by veteran Charlie Morton, and both hurlers had to settle for a no-decision. This was Bibee's first quality start of the campaign -- before Saturday, he hadn't gone deeper than 5.2 frames in any outing.     • Tanner Bibee whiffs nine over seven scoreless
      Tanner Bibee held Atlanta scoreless over seven innings with nine strikeouts, but didn’t qualify for a decision in his start Saturday.

      Advice: In one of the better pitching duels of the year, Bibbee and Charlie Morton battled zero-for-zero over the first seven frames. Bibbee allowed only two hits while in action, and he didn’t walk anyone while firing 60-of-91 pitches for strikes. The right-hander has struck out 17 batters over his last two starts, and he’s lowered his ERA to 3.45 after a couple of shaky outings in the early portion of the season.     • Sonny Gray strikes out nine in win over Mets
      Sonny Gray allowed four runs -- one earned -- with nine strikeouts over six innings in a win over the Mets on Saturday.

      Advice: Gray had worked through four scoreless innings before Brandon Nimmo drove in two on a base hit in the fifth. Pete Alonso followed with a two-run homer to make it four runs in the frame. Though, only one run was charged as an earned run to Gray after an error allowed the leadoff man to reach. The 34-year-old right-hander induced 15 whiffs to strike out nine batters. He’ll take an excellent 1.16 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and a 32/4 K/BB ratio across 23 1/3 innings into a start against the White Sox in St. Louis on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 4:34 pm

      Gray (3-1) picked up the win Saturday versus the Mets, allowing four runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out nine.

      Advice: The Mets plated four runs during a sloppy fifth innings by the Cardinals which included a Nolan Arenado error. Just one of the runs on Gray's ledgers was earned, however, and he was in total control outside of that frame, facing just three over the minimum. Gray tripled his season walk total with three free passes in this one, but with the nine punchouts he now has an excellent 32:4 K:BB over his first 23.1 innings with St. Louis.       Manager Brandon Hyde said Saturday that Bradish (elbow) is poised to return to the Orioles' rotation, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.

      Advice: Bradish's return can't come soon enough for an Orioles rotation also missing John Means (forearm) and Tyler Wells (elbow). Bradish made three rehab starts while recovering from a right UCL sprain that landed him on the 15-day injured list to begin the season. He pitched well in his last rehab outing with Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk while striking out six over five frames, and the 27-year-old is ready to make his next start in the majors. He pitched every fifth day during his rehab assignment, so if he stays on that schedule, he could return Wednesday at home against the Yankees.       Advice: Orioles manager Brandon Hyde confirmed Saturday that Bradish will return to Baltimore’s starting rotation at some point next week, presumably on Thursday against the division-rival Yankees, after striking out six over five innings on Friday in his final minor league rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk. The 27-year-old righty has made a remarkably quick recovery from an offseason UCL sprain in his right elbow and should be rostered in all fantasy formats on the heels of last year’s breakthrough campaign.     • D-backs optimistic Zac Gallen makes next start
      Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo expressed optimism late Friday that Zac Gallen (hamstring) will make his next start.

      Advice: Gallen was removed from Friday’s start against the Mariners in the sixth inning for precautionary reasons after experiencing right hamstring tightness. The 28-year-old righty has dealt with similar hamstring issues in the past, which is why Arizona didn’t want to take any chances. There should be some clarity on his status at some point in a few days when he throws his usual between-starts bullpen session, but for the moment, fantasy managers should plan on him taking the ball on Wednesday against the Dodgers at Chase Field.       Butto (0-1) took the loss Friday as the Mets fell, 4-2, to the Cardinals, giving up four runs on four hits and three walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out four.

      Advice: Homers by Alec Burleson in the second inning and Willson Contreras in the third accounted for all the damage off Butto, and were the first long balls he's served up this season. The right-hander tossed 94 pitches (56 strikes) before exiting, and while his 2.86 ERA and 1.09 WHIP through 22 innings look sharp, he's walking a tightrope with his control and command -- Butto has issued at least three walks in three of his four starts, and he's hit a batter with a pitch in three straight.       Advice: Coming off back-to-back losses, the 34-year-old righty found himself working from behind early after Elly De La Cruz walked and later stole home to score the first run of the game in the first inning. Eovaldi was able to regroup quickly and stifle the Reds' bats for the next five frames, though his struggles with limiting walks carried over from his previous start. He now owns a 3.00 ERA and 1.12 WHIP alongside a 36:17 K:BB through 36 innings in six games, and he'll look to pick up his second win of the season Thursday against the Nationals.
