    • Pulled after four innings
Bibee did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Tigers, allowing four runs on five hits in four innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bibee looked sharp early Wednesday, allowing just one hit through his first three innings. However, things went south in the fourth, when Bibee allowed four runs on four hits. While Cleveland would ultimately rally for a win in 10 innings, it was another disappointing start from Bibee -- he's now allowed 10 runs over nine innings in his last two outings. Overall, the 25-year-old right-hander is 2-1 with a 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB in eight starts (40.1 innings) this season. Bibee's currently slated for a tough road matchup against the Rangers early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:48 pm

    • Tanner Bibee pulled after four against Tigers
Tanner Bibee gave up four runs in four innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: Bibee cruised through three innings, allowing just one single, but everything went wrong in the fourth, which started with a single to conclude a 10-pitch at-bat. The Tigers wound up getting three more hits, as well as a key HBP, to produce a four-run inning in which Bibee threw more pitches (43) than in the first three combined (39). It was such a long inning that the Guardians didn’t bring Bibee back out for the fifth. Unfortunately, Bibee will miss the four-game series against the White Sox this weekend and make his next start in Texas against the Rangers. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:38 pm

    • Cardinals and Mets postponed on Wednesday
Wednesday’s scheduled contest between the Cardinals and Mets in New York was postponed due to rain.

Advice: The game will be made up on August 5. The Cardinals’ scheduled starter, Sonny Gray, will pitch on Thursday against the Brewers. Mets’ scheduled starter Jose Quintana will pitch on Friday, pushing rookie right-hander Christian Scott back to Saturday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:19 pm

    • Mets-Cardinals game postponed
Gray and the Cardinals won't play the Mets on Wednesday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The game will be made up Aug. 5, which had been a mutual off day for the two clubs. As a result of the postponement, Gray is expected to be pushed back one day in the pitching schedule to start Thursday in Milwaukee. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:55 pm

    • Martín Pérez charged with four runs versus Angels
Martín Pérez yielded four runs in five-plus innings Wednesday versus the Angels.

Advice: It was two runs through five, but Pérez allowed two singles to start the sixth and both runners came around to score off Luis Ortiz. Pérez struck out five and walked none. His 36/13 K/BB ratio in 45 innings this season is an improvement over his typical ratio, but he’s still not someone we would consider in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:19 pm

    • Tosses two innings of relief
Turnbull threw two innings of relief Tuesday against the Blue Jays, walking one but allowing no hits or runs.

Advice: Turnbull was expected to pitch in some sort of piggyback setup with Cristopher Sanchez, but Tuesday's game didn't entirely fit that pattern. Sanchez threw seven innings of one-run ball before turning it over to Turnbull in the eighth with the Phillies up 8-1. Turnbull's outing therefore wound up looking much more like traditional low-leverage relief work than a proper piggybacking arrangement. It's not yet clear whether Turnbull will be used as a typical reliever for the foreseeable future or if the Phillies will keep him lined up with Sanchez's starts. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:31 am
    • Grabs win over Cardinals
Butto (1-2) got the win Tuesday over the Cardinals, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three over five innings.

Advice: Butto got off to a rocky start, surrendering a leadoff home run to Brendan Donovan and another two runs in the opening frame. He was able to settle in the rest of the way, tossing four shutout innings despite having shaky command all night. Butto only threw 47 out of 89 pitches for strikes and walked multiple batters for a fourth straight start while his three punchouts were a season low. Butto owns a 3.00 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 34:17 K:BB in 33 innings and tentatively lines up for a rough start against the Phillies early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:29 am

    • Excellent against Cincinnati
Gallen (4-2) earned the win Tuesday over the Reds, allowing one hit and three walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Gallen had gone 11 days between starts after suffering a hamstring injury on April 26 against Seattle. He certainly looked healthy Tuesday, holding Cincinnati to one hit en route to his third scoreless outing this season. It's an encouraging effort from Gallen, who'd dropped his previous two starts, allowing eight runs over 10 innings in that span. He lowered his ERA to 2.84 with a 1.13 WHIP and 41:12 K:BB across seven starts (38 innings) this year. Gallen's currently in line for a road start Sunday against the Orioles in his next outing. • José Buttó earns win for Mets in St. Louis
José Buttó allowed three runs in five innings against the Cardinals to earn the win on Tuesday.

Advice: Buttó was more gritty than good in this one. He gave up a lead-off home run to Brendan Donovan and two more runs in the first before settling down and willing his way through five innings. Command was an issue for Buttó in this one, as just 35% of his pitches were in the zone and he walked three with just three strikeouts. The Mets rotation is getting crowded with Christian Scott’s promotion and Tylor Megill, David Peterson, and Kodai Senga working back from injury. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:18 pm
