    • Bellinger tallies three hits, homers in return
Cody Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

Advice: Bellinger’s solo homer in the fourth gave the Cubbies their first run of the night. It was Bellinger’s sixth homer of the season and third in his last seven games, in what was his return from the 10-day IL. Bellinger extended his hitting streak to nine games in this one, and continues to look hot after getting off to a slow start through the first two weeks of the season. His three-hit performance was as good as we could have hoped for in his first game since April 23. Rotoworld 22 minutes ago

    • Profar’s two-run homer not enough in loss to Cubs
Jurickson Profar went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Profar blasted a two-run homer off of Shota Imanaga in the eighth inning to give the Padres a 2-1 lead after being stifled by Imanaga through the first seven frames. The veteran left field continues to stay hot at the plate, as he’s now 10-for-23 in the month of May with two homers and eight RBI. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago
    • Justin Verlander hit hard in loss to Yankees
Justin Verlander allowed seven run on eight hits over five innings in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Verlander also walked three, struck out just two, and gave up three home runs on the day. The 41-year-old simply didn’t have it on Tuesday, allowing a three-run homer to light-hitting Alex Verdugo in the first inning. He allowed a run in four of his five innings on the day and posted just an 11 percent whiff rate and 20 percent CSW. His ERA is now 4.43 on the season and he has 16 strikeouts and 10 walks in 22 1/3 innings on the season. It has not been a particularly effective start, but he should have a much easier time against the Athletics next week. Rotoworld 42 minutes ago
    • Ramirez has three-hit game in loss Tuesday
Jose Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in the loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Advice: Ramirez increased his average to .245 on the season. His .231 BABIP is well below his career .280 BABIP. Despite the low average so far for the career .278 hitter, Ramirez has still managed 24 runs, seven home runs and 30 RBI in 35 games this year. Rotoworld Today, 6:15 pm

    • Kyle Finnegan notches 12th save of the season
Kyle Finnegan recorded his 12th save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Orioles.

Advice: Finnegan pitched a perfect ninth inning to close out the Orioles in the 3-0 win. The Nationals closer is now 12-of-13 in save opportunities this season and is a perfect 3-for-3 in save opportunities this month. He and the National will look to record a two-game sweep of the Orioles in the short series on Wednesday. Rotoworld Today, 6:14 pm

    • Randy Arozarena homers in victory over White Sox
Randy Arozarena swatted a two-run homer on Tuesday in the Rays’ win over the White Sox.

Advice: Arozarena lifted a no-doubter to left field off White Sox starter Michael Soroka in the third inning for his sixth big fly of the season. The 29-year-old fantasy stalwart got off to a painfully-slow start at the outset of the year, but has turned it on of late, homering three times in his last five contests since May 3. • Cubs activate Cody Bellinger for Tuesday return
Cubs activated 1B/OF Cody Bellinger from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Bellinger will make his return to Chicago’s lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Padres following a two-week absence due to a rib fracture. The 28-year-old slugger was off to a bit of a slow start at the dish this season, batting .226/.320/.440 with five homers and 17 RBI in 97 plate appearances over 22 contests before a collision with the center-field wall back on April 23 resulted in a rib injury. Fantasy managers should make sure he’s back in their respective lineups moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 1:23 pm

    • Returns from injured list
The Cubs activated Bellinger (ribs) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: Bellinger wound up missing nearly two weeks of action with a fracture in his right ribcage. Having shown enough in workouts to convince the Cubs he was ready to go, he will skip a rehab assignment and go directly back into the lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 1:16 pm

    • Taking seat Tuesday
Realmuto is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Blue Jays.

Advice: It's a rare day off for Realmuto, who has reached base eight times over the last three games. Garrett Stubbs will get a start behind the plate for the Phillies. Rotowire.com Today, 12:07 pm
