      Nick Castellanos doubled, singled and walked twice versus the Giants on Monday.

      Advice: Each time it looks like Castellanos might be turning the corner, he’s gone right back to slumping the next day. Still, this rates as his best game so far this season. The double was hit 389 feet and would have been a homer in nine ballparks. Incredibly, it was the first two-bagger of the year for a guy who once had 58 of them. He finished with 37 last season.       Advice: After going 0-for-8 in the first two games of the series, Rodriguez's bat woke up against Chris Sale. The 23-year-old outfielder has only had one sustained hot streak so far in 2024, but he's capable of sparking another one at any time.       Julio Rodríguez went 3-for-5 with a run scored on Wednesday in the Mariners’ loss to the Braves.

      Advice: Rodríguez has clearly snapped out of an early-season funk at the dish with seven multi-hit performances in his last 13 contests over the past two weeks since April 17. The 23-year-old fantasy superstar has just one round-tripper through 31 games, but he’s managed to raise his batting average back up to the .270 mark, and has also chipped in seven steals as well.       Castellanos went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Castellanos kicked off a three-run ninth inning for Philadelphia, tagging Angels closer Carlos Estevez for a solo home run to knot the game up at 5-5. After starting the season batting .153 with two runs scored in his first 20 games, Castellanos has started to turn the corner, scoring nine times with a .262 batting average since.       Nick Castellanos went 0-for-4 in the loss to the Angels on Monday.

      Advice: While Castellanos’s track record certainly suggests that he will hit, this has been awfully ugly; he’s batting just .173/.242/.218 through 120 plate appearances. The only players with worse OPSs currently qualified for the batting title are rookie second basemen (Colt Keith and Enmanuel Valdez). Castellanos has always been worse than most in recognizing which pitches to swing at, but his natural talent at putting bat to ball has made up for it.       Garcia went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Reds.

      Advice: Garcia opened up the scoring in Sunday's contest, taking Andrew Abbott deep for a two-run shot with two outs in the bottom of the first inning, driving in teammate Nathaniel Lowe in the process. The long ball was his eighth of the season and third in his last six contests.       Advice: The veteran slugger entered Saturday without a homer in eight straight games, but he went deep in the ninth inning against position player Owen Miller. Stanton also had an infield single in the opening frame but struck out in his other three plate appearances, which is his second game this season with three strikeouts.
