      Lowe went 4-for-6 with a double, two runs and two RBI against the Royals in Saturday's 15-4 victory.

      Advice: The Rangers pounded Kansas City pitching for 17 hits in the win, and Lowe was a big contributor from the No. 3 slot in the lineup with a season-high four base knocks. The first baseman began the campaign on the injured list due to a right oblique strain, but he's slid into Texas' offense comfortably since returning, reaching base safely via hit or walk in all but one of his 13 contests.       Ronald Acuña Jr. went 3-for-4 with a run scored on Saturday in the Braves’ loss to the Dodgers.

      Advice: There weren’t a ton of positive takeaways for Atlanta in this one, but Acuña continues to perform well with a pair of multi-hit performances in the series.       Logan Gilbert fired eight shutout innings on Saturday in a win over the Astros.

      Advice: Gilbert continued putting zeroes on the scoreboard against a loaded Astros lineup, needing just 96 pitches (60 strikes) to navigate eight dominant frames. The 27-year-old burgeoning fantasy ace finished with six strikeouts and only allowed six baserunners as Houston’s lineup mustered just five batted balls with an exit velocity over 95 mph. He’s allowed two earned runs or fewer in six of his seven starts so far this season.       Winn (3-4) took the loss Saturday in Philadelphia, allowing five runs on four hits, two walks and a hit-by-pitch over just two-thirds of an inning.

      Advice: In fairness to Winn, the weather in Philadelphia for this one was nasty and the right-hander never seemed comfortable. Of course, Ranger Suarez pitched in the same conditions and posted a quality start. Still, Winn had been on a roll prior to this one, yielding exactly one run over six innings in each of his last three starts, so this could be just a little bump in the road.       Nathaniel Lowe went 4-for-6 with a pair of RBI on Saturday, powering the Rangers to a lopsided 15-4 victory over the Royals.

      Advice: Lowe exploded for a season-high four hits as the Rangers’ talented offensive core racked up a staggering 17 hits in this one. The 28-year-old first baseman kick-started an eventual blowout with a two-run single in the fourth inning off Royals starter Michael Wacha.     • Keaton Winn fails to escape disastrous opening frame
      Keaton Winn was lit up for five runs and recorded only two outs on Saturday in a loss to the Phillies.

      Advice: Winn struggled mightily following a lengthy rain delay just prior to first pitch, departing after throwing 39 pitches (24 strikes) and recording only two outs in a disastrous opening frame. He gave up four hits, issued a pair of walks, hit one batter and failed to record a strikeout. It was a rare clunker for the 26-year-old righty after reeling off six straight quality outings to open the year. We’re happy to chalk it up to the extremely poor, rain-soaked conditions and willing to give Winn a mulligan here. He’ll bring a 4.41 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 28/12 K/BB ratio across 34 2/3 innings (seven starts) into a tough road matchup on Thursday afternoon against the Rockies at Coors Field.     • Tames Miami on Saturday
      Blackburn (3-1) registered the win Saturday against the Marlins, yielding just one run on four hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out three.

      Advice: Blackburn was perfect through the first three innings and then really got to put it on cruise control after the Athletics offense spotted him a 12-0 lead. A leadoff home run by Nick Fortes in the sixth inning represented the only scoring off Blackburn. It's a nice bounce-back performance from the veteran right-hander after he allowed 13 runs over his previous three outings. Blackburn is slated to take on the Mariners in Seattle next.     • Jurickson Profar has jack and a bag in victory
      Jurickson Profar went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and a stolen base on Saturday night as the Padres demolished the Diamondbacks in San Diego.

      Advice: Profar didn’t seem to mind being dropped down to the fifth spot in the lineup following the addition of Luis Arraez. He reached on a fielder’s choice and swiped a base in the opening inning but was left stranded at second. He then led off the fourth inning with a single and scored on a ground ball off the bat of Luis Campusano. He also helped to pad the Padres’ lead with a 395-foot (102.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Brandon Hughes in the seventh inning, making it a 7-0 ballgame. Conventional wisdom says that he’ll eventually crash back to earth, but Profar is on top of the world right now.
