    • Swipes bag Sunday
Meyers went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Angels.

Advice: Meyers notched his first base hit of the afternoon to lead off the fourth and would steal second before the inning ended. It was his fifth theft of the year and his third since May 29. He also roped a double in the seventh, which was his first extra-base hit since he homered May 24. Overall, the 28-year-old is slashing .263/.328/.431 with six homers, 25 RBI, 18 runs and a 13:37 BB:K in 184 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:52 am

    • Swipes another bag Sunday
Carroll went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Carroll tallied his second multi-hit game as well as his second stolen base this month after nabbing second in the eighth. He now has six hits and has reached base a total of nine times over his last four games. The 23-year-old still has a poor season slash line of .204/.291/.290 with two homers, 20 RBI, 33 runs and a 28:52 BB:K in 278 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:22 am

    • Fires seven innings
Kirby allowed a run on five hits over seven innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out four during the win over the Royals.

Advice: The lone run to score on Kirby came via a sacrifice bunt in the fifth inning. After a shaky stretch in May, he's back to looking like his usual self recently; over his last three starts, Kirby has posted a 2.00 ERA and 21:1 K:BB. He was in line for the win after his seventh quality start of 2024 before the Royals tied up the game in the ninth inning. Kirby is now sporting a 3.81 ERA with a terrific 78:7 K:BB through 80.1 frames. His next start is lined up to be at home against the Rangers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:32 pm

    • George Kibry strong for seven against Royals
George Kirby pitched seven innings of one-run ball Sunday against the Royals.

Advice: Kirby was in line for the win when he left, but a two-run lead was blown in the bottom of the ninth. Kirby has allowed a total of four runs in his last three starts, lowering his ERA from 4.33 to 3.81. He went without walking a batter today, and his K/BB stands at 78/7 through 80 1/3 innings. • Notches ninth save
Neris picked up his ninth save of the season Sunday against the Reds, striking out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning. He did not allow a baserunner.

Advice: Neris was sharp, striking out the first two batters he faced before inducing a groundout to secure a 4-2 victory for the Cubs. The 34-year-old veteran has enjoyed a nice start to the month of June, notching saves in three of his four appearances and a win in the other. During that stretch, Neris has pitched four scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and two walks while collecting six strikeouts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:07 pm
    • Notches first win
Duran (1-2) picked up the win Sunday against Pittsburgh, striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning. He did not allow a baserunner.

Advice: Duran was roughed up by Pittsburgh on Saturday, allowing three earned runs in two-thirds of an inning. The hard-throwing right-hander was able to rebound Sunday, pitching a clean ninth frame to earn his first win. Duran has not received a save opportunity since June 2, but he is still the Twins' top closer, going a perfect 10-for-10 in save chances after missing the first month of the season with an oblique injury. • Struggles in no-decision
Ober escaped with a no-decision Sunday against Pittsburgh, allowing four earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings.

Advice: Ober did not allow a home run for the first time since May 12, but his recent struggles continued. The right-hander yielded three extra-base hits Sunday and has now given up multiple earned runs in five consecutive starts. During that span, the 28-year-old has limped to a 7.61 ERA and a 1.76 WHIP in 23.2 innings. Ober will look to bounce back in his next start, currently scheduled for next weekend versus Oakland. • Bailey Ober hit around in no-decision against PIT
Bailey Ober allowed four runs on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: This now marks five straight mediocre starts for Ober, who has allowed 20 earned runs in his last 23 1/3 innings over those five starts. It was easy to explain away Ober’s poor stats early in the season when he only had one bad start, but this has been a rough stretch. The tall right-hander saw his velocity up across his entire pitch mix today, and the Pirates certainly didn’t hit him overly hard, but he did allow seven hard-hit baseballs. There are no glaring red flags, and you have to keep Ober in your lineup for next week’s game against the Athletics. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:22 pm
    • Héctor Neris perfect in ninth versus Reds
Héctor Neris threw a perfect ninth with a two-run lead for a save Sunday against the Reds.

Advice: Neris has been effective throughout, but it’s come with an ugly K/BB ratio. Fortunately, he’s starting to turn that around some now, having struck out six and walked two in four innings this month. He has a 22/17 K/BB ratio now, compared to 13/14 through his first 16 appearances this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:08 pm
