      Luis Guillorme came off the bench to deliver a go-ahead sac fly in the bottom of the eighth as the Angels edged the Padres 2-1 on Monday.

      Advice: For some reason, the Angels bypassed the squeeze opportunity with Guillorme up, a man on third and one out in the eighth.       Machado went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Angels.

      Advice: Machado's solo shot in the first inning was the lone run for the Padres in Monday's loss. He was intentionally walked twice and also stole his fourth base of the year. The long ball snapped a brutal 26-game drought since his last homer May 3; during that cold streak, he posted a .591 OPS.       Advice: Gorman hit solo home runs off Justin Verlander in the first and fifth innings and added a walk in the third. Gorman has been on an absolute binge in his past 10 games, tallying five multi-hit efforts, six home runs and 12 RBI since May 21.       Advice: Vientos hit a solo home run off Nationals starter MacKenzie Gore in the fourth inning, his second long ball over his past three games. The 24-year-old continues to crush left-handed pitching, entering Monday's game with a .444/.483/.815 slash line against southpaws.       Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a two-run home run against the Rockies on Monday.

During that span, he's boosted his season OPS from .663 to .739 through 214 total plate appearances.       Advice: The home run was Bregman’s ninth of the season. With the Astros trailing by one in the eighth inning, he homered off JoJo Romero to tie the game. Bregman is still hitting just .229 on the season, but his .234 BABIP is significantly lower than his career .280 BABIP.
