      Advice: Stanek got the call for the save opportunity with Andres Munoz unavailable having worked the previous two days. The former Astro would go on to strike out Alex Bregman and Jake Meyers before getting Jon Singleton to fly out to end the game. It was Stanek's third save of the year and his first since April 12 and he's now struck out six batters over his last three innings.       Castillo did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Astros, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out six in six innings.

      Advice: Castillo remains winless over his last three starts but has consistently been putting up solid results. He's now two earned runs or fewer in nine straight starts dating back to April 14 and eight of those starts have gone at least six innings. His lone mistake on the evening was serving up a two-run homer to Alex Bregman in the fourth to give the Astros a 2-1 lead. He's now given up five home runs over his last four starts.       Bernardino allowed one walk and struck out four over two scoreless innings to pick up a hold in Tuesday's 8-3 win over Baltimore.

      Advice: The game was still tight when Bernardino extricated himself and starter Brayan Bello from a bases-loaded, none-out predicament in the sixth inning. After he loaded the bases with a walk to the first batter faced, the left-hander got a strikeout, a groundout to the pitcher and another strikeout to preserve Boston's 4-3 lead. Bernardino then pitched a perfect seventh inning before Boston's bats piled on insurance runs.       Brown did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Mariners, allowing one run on four hits and no walks while striking out nine in six innings.

      Advice: Brown had arguably his best performance of the season, tossing his third quality start while setting a new season-high with nine punchouts. The Mariners scratched across a run on him in the first inning, and from there he was dominant, allowing just one runner to reach scoring position while retiring the final 11 he faced in order. Tuesday was also just the second time this season he went without walking a batter. It was certainly an encouraging outing after it's been a mixed bag of results all year from the 25-year-old, who now owns a 6.39 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 53:24 K:BB in 49.1 innings.       Advice: It sounded like Howard would be the second pitcher in tonight, but he instead entered in the fourth after Erik Miller and Taylor Rogers combined on three scoreless innings. He then kept his old team scoreless through the seventh. It didn’t get him a win, but he might have earned a chance to stick around.       Zack Wheeler blanked the Giants for six innings, allowing just two hits, in a no-decision Tuesday.

      Advice: Wheeler wasn’t at his most efficient tonight, but that didn’t really matter, since the Phillies went 10 innings without scoring. It’s Wheeler’s ninth quality start in 12 tries, and he lowered his ERA to 2.32. Still, the Phillies bizarrely are only 6-6 when he pitches, compared to 32-12 the rest of the time.       Hunter Brown limited the Mariners to one run over six innings and struck out nine in a no-decision Tuesday.

      Advice: The result certainly wasn’t what Houston wanted, but Brown’s outing was awfully encouraging. Boasting maybe his best slider of the year, he got 14 missed swings and topped his previous season high for strikeouts by two. It’s his third quality start and just the second time he’s gone without allowing a walk.
