      Dylan Cease surrendered three runs in 5 2/3 innings Tuesday in a loss to the Rockies.

      Advice: The third run came after he was pulled in the sixth. Cease struck out eight and gave up just four hard-hit balls, although one was a homer. It’s just the second time this season that he’s failed to complete six innings. The veteran infielder is still battling inconsistency with a .212/.264/.318 slash line, 13 RBI, 23 runs scored, two stolen bases and six doubles through 182 plate appearances this season.
