    • Not starting Monday
Estrada (thumb) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Estrada will miss a third consecutive game after jamming his thumb Friday against the Mets. Brett Wisely will start at second base Monday and bat in the leadoff spot against Diamondbacks right-hander Ryne Nelson. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:26 pm
    • Getting rest Monday
Vierling is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Vierling will get a breather for the series opener, despite being one of the hottest hitters in the Detroit lineup at the moment. While starting each of the last seven games, Vierling recorded at least one hit and produced a .438/.455/.906 slash line overall. The 27-year-old should have a hold on a near-everyday role while he's sizzling at the plate, but his absence from the lineup Monday will open up a spot in the outfield for Akil Baddoo. • Hamstring strain 'very mild'
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that Marsh, who was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday is dealing with a "very mild" right hamstring strain, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Marsh strained the hamstring late in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals. While the Phillies aren't putting an official timeline on Marsh's return from the IL, he appears to have a shot to make it back when he's first eligible June 13, or close to it. David Dahl was called up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move and will start in left field in Marsh's place in Monday's game against the Brewers. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:44 pm

    • Brandon Marsh describes hamstring strain as mild
Brandon Marsh feels his hamstring strain is mild and he’s “looking for a pretty quick turnaround.”

Advice: Very good news. Marsh will obviously miss the next 10 days after going on the injured list this afternoon. If he misses only the minimum, he’d be out for just seven games, since the Phillies have three days off surrounding their trip to London this weekend. Rotoworld Monday, 1:37 pm

    • Goes on IL with hamstring strain
The Phillies placed Marsh on the 10-day injured list Monday with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Marsh was lifted in the eighth inning of Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Cardinals with a right hamstring strain, and though the severity of the injury isn't fully known, the Phillies quickly ascertained that the outfielder was dealing with more than a day-to-day concern. Philadelphia called up David Dahl and Weston Wilson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to give the club two additional healthy options in the outfield in the interim, and Whit Merrifield or Cristian Pache could also be in line to pick up more reps in left field while Marsh is on the shelf. Pache and Merrifield had already been seeing starts in left field this season as short-side platoon mates for the lefty-hitting Marsh. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:30 pm

    • Brandon Marsh (hamstring) heading to 10-day IL
Phillies placed OF Brandon Marsh on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Marsh sustained the injury while running the bases during the eighth inning of Sunday night’s ballgame against the Cardinals. It’s still unclear at the moment how long he’ll be shelved for. David Dahl was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move on Monday. Rotoworld Monday, 12:26 pm

    • Homers in return
Gurriel went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Mets.

Advice: Gurriel, who was scratched from Saturday's game with an Illness, made an immediate impact in his return to the starting lineup. He and Ketel Marte put Arizona up early with solo homers in the first inning. The home run was Gurriel's seventh of the season and first in 11 games. He's slumped since the end of April, batting just .182 with two home runs and 10 RBI over the last 32 games. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:10 am
    • Logs three hits in loss
Rutschman went 3-for-5 with one RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Rays.

Advice: Rutschman had a brief cold spell a couple of weeks ago, but he's bounced back well. He's hit safely in six straight games, going 9-for-25 (.360) in that span. The catcher is slashing .304/.342/.473 with 10 home runs, 38 RBI, 30 runs scored and one stolen base over 54 contests this season. He was given more regular rest in late May, which may help him stay fresher as the Orioles enter a busy stretch of their schedule. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:51 pm
    • Exits early with hamstring injury
Marsh was removed in the bottom of the eighth inning of Sunday's contest against the Cardinals due to a right hamstring strain, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports. He went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored prior to exiting the game.

Advice: Marsh recorded a single off reliever Andrew Kittredge to open the bottom of the eighth, but he left the game after advancing to second base on a hit by Nick Castellanos. The outfielder will likely undergo additional testing on his leg, and a trip to the injured list could be on the table. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:54 pm
