    • Ian Happ tallies two hits, homers in victory
Ian Happ went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Cubs’ victory over the Giants.

Advice: Happ went back-to-back with teammate Dansby Swanson off Giants reliever Spencer Bivens in the fourth inning. The 29-year-old left fielder has gone deep three times in his last five contests since June 15 and is up to nine round-trippers on the season. Rotoworld 13 minutes ago

    • Brandon Pfaadt logs quality start in loss to Nats
Brandon Pfaadt logged a quality start in Wednesday afternoon’s loss to the Nationals, giving up three runs on five hits across his 6 1/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander astonishingly did not record a strikeout in the contest while issuing four free passes. Still, he managed to keep the Nats off the board completely until Jesse Winker’s go-ahead two-run shot in the sixth inning. He then exited with two men on and one out in the seventh inning, and one of those runners ultimately came around to score as well. Pfaadt didn’t get a single swing and miss on any of his 77 pitches in the contest, registering an underwhelming CSW of only 23 percent. He’ll carry a 4.37 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and an 84/22 K/BB ratio (90 2/3 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the Twins. Rotoworld 21 minutes ago
    • Dodgers activate Bobby Miller for Wednesday return
Dodgers activated RHP Bobby Miller from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: The 25-year-old hurler will make his triumphant return to the hill against the Rockies at Coors Field on Wednesday. He made four starts in the minor leagues while he was building back up, registering a 7.80 ERA, 1.80 WHIP and a 10/8 K/BB ratio over 15 frames. Given the venue, fantasy managers may want to take a wait-and-see approach before reinserting Miller back into lineups. Rotoworld Today, 2:11 pm

    • Continues hot streak Tuesday
Happ went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Giants.

Advice: Happ now has four straight two-hit efforts, which has pushed his season batting average from .212 up to .234. During the hot stretch, the outfielder has also gone deep twice and driven in seven runs. Happ has been a steady fantasy performer the last few years, and it looks like he'll deliver a similar level of performance in 2024. Rotowire.com Today, 7:36 am

    • On bench again Wednesday
Candelario (tendinitis) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Candelario will be on the bench for the second game in a row while he deals with unspecified tendinitis. Reds manager David Bell already said that Candelario isn't at any major risk of landing on the injured list, so the expectation is that the veteran corner infielder will be good to go for Friday's series opener versus the Red Sox coming out of Thursday's team off day. • Day off Wednesday
Cronenworth is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game in Philadelphia.

Advice: Cronenworth will get his first day off in more than a month as the Padres and Phillies conclude their series with a day game after a night game. Tyler Wade will fill in at second base while Cronenworth gets some rest. Rotowire.com Today, 7:18 am

    • Returns to action
Heim went 1-for-4 in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Heim returned from a paternity leave Tuesday and was back in the lineup as the catcher. He's batting .235/.278/.341 with six home runs, 31 RBI, one steal and 22 runs scored over 241 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 5:37 am

    • Hit hard by Rays
Lopez didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Tampa Bay, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk across four innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Four of the five runs attributed to Lopez came via the long ball, with Randy Arozarena launching a three-run homer in the first inning and Brandon Lowe notching a solo home run in the fifth, marking Lopez's seventh consecutive start allowing a round-tripper. The 28-year-old has allowed five or more runs in four of his last six appearances, owning an 8.94 ERA during that stretch and ballooning his ERA to a career-worst 5.63 overall. He's lined up for a road start against the Athletics on Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 5:23 am
    • Pablo López hit hard on Tuesday in no-decision
Pablo López was crushed for five runs over four innings on Tuesday in a no-decision the Rays.

Advice: The ball was flying on Tuesday night at Target Field as López was tagged for seven hits, including a pair of homers, before a lengthy rain delay brought his outing to a close. He finished with three strikeouts and only issued one walk. The surface results haven’t been inspiring this season, but he still holds a strong 3.47 xFIP, which seems to indicate that he’s been extremely unlucky. He’ll aim to rebound this weekend with a tasty road tilt on Sunday against the Athletics out in Oakland. Rotoworld Today, 3:15 am
