    • Hits bench versus lefty
Cronenworth isn't in the Padres' lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: Cronenworth will get a breather Friday with lefty Ranger Suarez on the mound for Philadelphia. Jurickson Profar will start in his place at first base, allowing Jose Azocar to start in left field while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:46 pm

    • Gets breather Saturday
Candelario isn't in the Reds' lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Candelario will get a chance to clear his head Saturday after going 0-for-15 with eight strikeouts across his last five games. Santiago Espinal will step in to cover third base instead while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 10:18 am

    • Records second win
Doval (2-0) allowed two hits and a walk while striking out one over a scoreless inning to earn the win Friday over the Pirates.

Advice: Doval walked the tightrope in the top of the ninth inning Friday, loading the bases with one out before inducing a double play to escape the jam while keeping the game scoreless. Patrick Bailey then delivered a walk-off three-run home run to give Doval and the Giants the win. Doval has kept runs off the board in seven of his nine appearances this season, earning four saves with a 3.12 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 13:5 K:BB over 8.2 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 10:01 am
    • George Springer gets rare day off Saturday
George Springer is not in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Dodgers.

Advice: It’s a rare day off for Springer, who has started seven consecutive contests since April 20. The 34-year-old veteran outfielder has been in Toronto’s lineup for all but two of their contests this season. It’ll be Bo Bichette in the leadoff spot and rookie Addison Barger drawing a start in right field as the Blue Jays face Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow at the Rogers Centre. • Sitting Saturday
Springer is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Springer has gone 7-for-28 with two doubles and a solo home run since his last day off April 19. Addison Barger will make his third major-league start in right field Saturday and bat ninth against Dodgers right-hander Tyler Glasnow. Rotowire.com Today, 8:26 am

    • Tallies two hits Friday
Morel went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Morel has been scuffling a bit lately, as he's batting just .176 over his last 10 games with no home runs, and he has just three long balls overall this season across 25 contests. Still, the 24-year-old is a legitimate power threat, and even though he hasn't really gotten going in that department yet, he can heat up in a hurry and hit homers in bunches. • Fires six scoreless innings
Harrison didn't factor in the decision Friday against the Pirates after he struck out seven and allowed five hits and no walks across six scoreless innings.

Advice: Harrison generated 13 swinging strikes on 93 pitches as he gave up fewer than three earned runs in a start for the first time since his season debut. The right-hander missed out on his third win, however, as the Giants didn't score until Patrick Bailey's walk-off, three-run homer in the ninth. Harrison has a 4.09 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 31:5 K:BB over 33 innings through five starts this season. Rotowire.com Today, 1:47 am
    • Jeimer Candelario goes 0-for-4 in defeat
Jeimer Candelario finished 0-for-4 with three strikeouts against the Rangers on Friday.

Advice: Candelario would have been one to avoid in fantasy drafts this year if only he had signed with almost any other team. With the Reds, though, there was reason to think he’d maintain ample mixed-league value. Instead, his exit velocity numbers are way down and his strikeout rate is way up, making this a truly miserable April for the 30-year-old. It doesn’t seem likely that he’ll remain this bad, but he’s fortunate that the Noelvi Marte suspension and Matt McLain injury have left his playing time unchallenged. • Kyle Harrison holds Pirates off board over six
Kyle Harrison blanked the Pirates over six innings Friday with seven strikeouts, but didn’t qualify for a decision.

Advice: Harrison gets a hard-luck no-decision because the Giants were unable to score a run while he was in the contest. The southpaw didn’t walk anyone while scattering five hits in one of his best starts an MLB hurler. Harrison will have some ups-and-downs as a 22-year-old in his first full season of action, but there’s a chance for the ups to outweigh those downs. He’ll look to build on this against the Red Sox on Wednesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:51 pm
